Airsoft gun thread

I only have 2 airsoft guns a pistol and a desert eagle and I like airsoft guns better then paitball because you have more fun because it dosent hurt has much...do you like air soft guns?

The kids I babysit have 4 air soft guns, 2 pistols, 1 desert eagle, and 1 large assult rifle, they are quite fun, and I agree, the are less dangerous that pinball guns.

I only have two airguns, one's a pistol with laser sighting, the other's a rifle with laser sighting as well. Powerful, destructive they seem. I think I shot my fence with a lead pellet using the rifle and the pellet was stuck in the wooden board. I haven't tried using brass BB balls though.

No, I don't see the point. Actually, my brother has (or had) one which I recently distroyed.

He was ticked off at me, so he shot me with it (some kind of pistol). It didn't really hurt, just it stung for a bit. I destroyed it because I don't want him to shoot anyones eye out (he's way too immature to have one... even if they aren't powerful).

I love airsoft guns! I also love paintball. I like airsoft because it doesn't hurt as much, and I like paintball because they hurt more, adding to the adrenaline rush you get from playing.

I own a Desert eagle, and a HardBall II shotgun.
My friend has a super 9 volt, and he always lets me play with it. Dang it is a nice airsoft gun!

I have a pistole that has often been used as defence from my brother. They sting like the dickens.

Yes I have an Airsoft BB gun. It is a bit old, but it pretty much looks like an M-16. Not as good as the real thing, but still good enough.

Oh, the laser sightings and scopes come with the guns. You just need to make sure that it's all in one package. Though airguns are not as devastating as real handguns and rifles, it's always good to have safety come first before shooting. Never point a loaded weapon at anyone and never take off the safety before you start shooting at the target.

I hear you, all my friends can't seem to grasp the concept of gun safety. For example, pointing a loaded airsoft gun at point blank straight at my head. When I say "what are you doing point that somewhere else!!!" they all say "relax, the safety's on."..... A little hint kids, even with safety on, a gun is still dangerous.

I used to play ... I sort of grew out of it. It got boring after a while. I still play every once in a while, but not very often.

Wait, can someone please tell me what's the difference between an airgun and an airsoft gun? Lol... is airsoft gun using something like capsuls to blow out small compressed air or something, like the cap guns that people use at races?

I think these two are different. And yeah, I am talking about airguns in my posts, not airsoft guns (unless they are the same).

And yes, BB_11, pointing guns, no matter what kind, at people's foreheads is the stupidest thing you can do with guns. It saddens me at seeing how ignorant some people can get about safety issues with guns.

I'm not sure what an airgun is, but an airsoft gun is a gun (CO2, electric, or spring) that shoots little plastic BB's.

that is what I have been trying to tell my friends for years!!! one of my friends actually sort of got into gun safety after he shot his friend in the head because his gun didn't have it's safety on, but he was back to his usual life threatening ways in a matter of days.

I recieved an Airsoft Pistol for Christmas, and it was fun for awhile, until my mother got paranoid about them and I couldn't shoot at anything that wasn't in the basement. I also had to wear safety goggles, which isn't too bad because a BB hit my brother in the eye one day. I guess they're necessary.

My brother and I and a bunch of our friends picked 'em up, they're really fun things. Ammo's cheap, and the guns themselves are really cool, and don't cost a fortune either. You don't have to worry about damaging anything in the area, or even other people, except if you hit 'em in the eye...

Just don't shoot a lightbulb, that can result in bad things...I experienced it first hand...

Heh, funny how my BB gun uses copper BB's that riccochet. It's actauly pretty safe to fire, so long as your at a distance as I've shot at old records in my basement without goggles and never got hit.

I wear a full paintball mask, goggles for target shooting, then the mask for competitive play. We started wearing masks after we were playing and one of the bullets actually ricocheted past the goggles and nailed my friend in the eye.

when i got shot in the eye with an airsoft gun I started wearing saftey goggles

Ah okay. Airguns or air rifles are just compressed air either CO2 or pump-action air-compressor. They can shoot fairly far and the bullets are either brass BB's or lead pellets. Pretty powerful and can penetrate people's hands at a relatively close range. I guess airsoft isn't that much different from airguns, except for the firing mechanism.
