I Have a Keylogger...

Well, I was playing runescape, and this guy said go to this website for runescape video's so I did. I saved one and it gave me a keylogger, and something called a, "Hack Tool". But there both not doing anything. And I have Norton Anti Virus and, Spysweeper, which was not free. And neither of them can get rid of them, I try and delete it and it say's, "Delete Failed". Oh, and I also have Ad-Aware and Registry Mechanic, and those can't delete them either. How can I get rid of them?

You probably cant delete them because they are in use. Try this: start>run: type 'msconfig'
Go to the last tab of the menu appearing, you'll see every application listed that runs at startup. See if the keylogger is in there, uncheck it, and reboot your PC.

Next time, try not to let your curiosity get the best of you. When these two malicious programs are called: "keylogger" and "hack tool", you shouldn't have clicked on them.

Other than the advice that Trigun has stated, try opening up your task manager and see if both programs are in use. If they are, close them.

If nothing else works, backup your files and reformat your comp.

Also Updating your Virus definitions may help too. If all else fails Save all important stuff to Cd anf as Lone Wolf said, format your comp. If you have no Cd's or not enough you could partition your drive and dump all your stuff there (Think virtual hard drive) and format the C drive and reinstall windows. Remember, formatting is ALWAYS a last resort.

They wern't called that. It was runescape stuff.

Perhaps you should ask the guy who sent you to the website why those files were downloaded onto your computer. The site probably downloaded them.

No, I'm pretty sure he knew it. I don't remeber who it was anyways.

I'm having another problem aswell Some site's I visit the text is very small, can't even read it, google is one of them. And some text on this site is small, and not able to read aswell, how do I fix this?

Hold "ctrl" and scroll the middle mouse ball on your mouse upward. If you don't have that, go into "tools" -> "options" -> "fonts" and set it.

Or click on "View" ath the top of the screen, and go to "Text Size". From there you can change the text size.

When go there all it has is Font and web page font.
