Long and Lost?

Okay today I just got a call from my brother. That I do not know! I have heard of him and met him at my dads funeral. I was five and I do not remember. I was wondering if anyone else has a long lost sibling. I didn't know about justin and now I'm meeting him tommarow does anyone else have an experiance like this?

That's a nice story. I hope your meeting goes off without a hitch. It must be nice to finally meet him. I don't have any long lost brothers or relatives. Just some cousins I've never met because my Dad and their father don't get along. I'm not sure why, some thing when they were younger, I guess.

I used to, yeah, my brother lived with my aunts in mexico until I was 15 so I didn't really get to see him much. Last year he moved to his own house here in Arizona so now I can finally see him more often It's a weird experience because even though you know they're your sibling... they feel more like someone you just know, or a very close friend. Weird... weird... But yeah I guess I'm the only one to have voted "yes" on your poll too.

Nope I'm sure I don't sorry about your dad. But I did almost forget about one of my aunts we never see and she still sends me birthday money and stuff I feel so bad. She lives in Florida.

Yes, actually... I do have a long-lost brother. A half-brother, to be precise. His name is Steve. He is a good deal older than I am...35, I believe. I have yet to speak with him. I did not find out about him until last summer..

I was..interested..in the fact that I was not the first male child born to my father.

I don't have any long lost siblings, but I do have siblings. Annoying ines at that.

i have some cousins that live in London whom i've never met and i don't even know if they are still alive after the attacks :'(

the thing that made me feel werid about them is that they're Black and i didn't know i had Black relatives so i don't think i'll ever meet them because they are older than me and it would be really uncomfortable.

No, at least not that I know of. I cannot imagine having one, though, but it would be pretty weird if I did.

I haven't come across any, but if I knew about them, they wouldn't be lost.

Their ethnicity/color shouldn't make you feel uncomfortable about them, although I can imagine the age would. A bunch of people in my family are black. I have Zimbabweian relatives, too. Some of the best people I've ever known.

I'd try to become close to your relatives, if I were you--you'll thank yourself, I think.

It did! It was really great to meet him! I Had and awsome time and he gave me a flash drive. He likes this site! He likes ZELDA! He loves computors. Oh and ha is 23. He wants to take me to his house in the mountains once he moves there. I amire him alot. He rules! Anyway the whole thing went off with out a hitch and I had a great time. I met his grandparents (he is my half-brother) and his aunt. I met her two sons Ri-guy (Ryan) and Coop-Dog (cooper.) Anyway he is actually a great role model. Even my mom Agrees!

I have four half-siblings in New York. Didn't even know of their existance until I was....8? Ten? Don't even know what two of them look like, since I never met them. Well, I think I met one when I was eight, but I never saw her after that, so I don't remember her. The other I might have met as a baby, but I don't remember her at all.
The ones I do remember, I haven't seen in years. Although when I was younger, I practically worshipped one. Heh. She was cool. ^_^
The other that I remember...he was a bit of an ass. Apparently he smokes pot now.

I wouldn't think I have any long-lost siblings, but I do have a few I haven't seen for years - and only irregularly for several years before that. Combine that with the significant age-gap (meaning I didn't know them as well as I did my other brothers and sisters to start with), and they might qualify.

I have a sibling that I never see, but I know that exists, and have my entire life.

I don't know if that counts.

As for me, I doubt I have one. Although my parents lived very strange lives(hopping from one foreign country to the next) before they met, told to me with very vauge details, I don't think they're the sort of people who would hide such matters. The only thing I have remotely to long and lost, would probably be my mother's miscarried baby that preceded my own birth.

You shouldn't feel uncomfortable around people with different ethnicity.

Anyway, no. I have no estranged siblings. At least not that I know of, which is kind of the point. Hah.
