Re: What's your Zodiac sign?
My sister and I are both Taurus. We have no idea what our ruling planet is, but I think our animal is the horse. By the way, if anyone is curious, my sister and I were born on the same day! We were triplets, but our brother died. So technically, we're twins that were triplets at one time. NO, we do not look alike. We both have blonde hair and glasses, though. But that's about it.

Re: What's your Zodiac sign?
I'm going to ask that people put more into their posts in this topic if it's going to stay open.
I have much more to say than most about astrology, but I'm sure everyone can manage at least a few lines. Go here, here and here For lots of good information and also access to your own charts. The last of the three is probably the best for a simple chart, while the first is great for variations and comparing couples and other things. Forgive me for missing details -- I'm going through my chart entirely by memory. Now, then. I am a Leo, however the sun is my only planet in Leo. On my chart the sun is at the beginning of the seventh house, so it's directly opposite my ascendant. I think this explains what I consider to be one of my strongest character traits: I am extremely empathetic; I constantly think of myself in the place of others when dealing with them. I have Mars in Aries, in the first house -- this is a placement for a rather strong ego (though in my case it is tempered by a few other things, I think). The first house is the house of self, and Mars is an aggressive planet which thrives in Aries, a fire sign. I have an empty second house of money and possessions -- that doesn't mean I'll neccessarily be terribly poor in life, however it's not one of my first priorities. My third house is also empty -- it deals with social aspects and communication. This might explain to a degree my awkwardness in many social situations. In the fourth house I have Jupiter, in Gemini. Jupiter is seen as a planet of good fortune -- the largest; the king of the planets. Gemini deals with thought and verbal and written communication. I like to think that this planetary placement allows for my love of language and of the written word. I have venus in cancer in either the fifth or the sixth house -- I cannot remember which. Ignoring house placement, Venus is associated with love, and cancer is emotional and sensitive in a lot of ways -- cancers are characteristically afraid of being hurt (or of hurting others). I am most definitely sensitive about my love interests and also I am quick to pull back into my metaphorical shell. I am not the most characteristic Leo, due largely to some of my other planetary placements -- the Fire in my burns strong however. Leo, along with Aries and Saggitarius, is a fire sign. It indicates passion and intensity. I become extremely passionate in almost any interest I have and though I'm not as extroverted as most Leos might be, I have my moments. With the sun in the seventh house, It indicates a strong emphasis on relationships and long term commitments -- perhaps marriage. Mercury is in Virgo, also in the seventh house. Mercury is all about verbal communication, and Virgo is self-controlled, well-mannered, articulate, and perhaps obsessive. This all adds up to quick thinking, and certainly fast-paced thoughts and speech. I know only to well how others insist that I slow down when I get excited about an idea and start talking. Pluto moves very slowly and affects entire generations. I daresay most of us at ZU have Pluto in scorpio -- though not the much younger and much older. Scorpio is the most blatantly sexual of the zodiac signs, and Pluto represents more than anything else transformation. Our generation seems well on the way, I think, to altering attitudes towards sexuality perhaps even more than the feminists of the 60s and 70s. The increased acceptence of sexual "deviations" is key. It also welcomes increased interest in all things spiritual, including the occult. My tenth house -- of career and ambition -- is quite full, with three planets all in Saggitarius. It is here that the Moon, Saturn, and Uranus (my personal ruling planet) are found. Saggitarius implies imagination, creativity, exploration, and travel -- my ideal career, then, almost definitely will involve travelling the world. The presence of the moon here is also key -- the moon represents the inner, emotional self, arguably of equal importance to the sun's outer self. It can be said, then, that my emotional fulfillment is largely based upon career aspirations. Moving on to my eleventh house, we find the last planet I'll mention -- neptune. Another outer planet, it moves somewhat faster than Pluto, but still affects generations. Neptune was in Capricorn at the time of my birth, and I don't know much what to say about it, but here is a long explanation by someone else. Elemental trends are in most cases not too important, but I happen to have a certain abundance of planets in fire Signs (5!), and just 2 in earth signs, 1 in air, and 2 in water. This means that I certainly have the passion and the energy to start things, and I want to do them, but without much in the other elements, it doesn't always happen. It's more significant, however, when you're missing an element completely, so I don't need to worry too much. Quote:

Re: What's your Zodiac sign?
I'm a Libra, but I don't believe in any horoscopes at all. Sometimes they're so vague and people freak out over them because they turned out to be right. I just feel like hitting them.

Re: What's your Zodiac sign?
I'm a Virgo, but I'm on the cusp. I'm one day away from being a Libra.
I think the two descriptions work pretty well for me. Where I really falter as a Virgo is in my organization. I have no problems throwing stuff down wherever I want. I don't really believe in astrology, but it's fun to read about. I've found that an unusually high percentage of my friends are Scorpios. Odd.

Re: What's your Zodiac sign?
I'm a Taurus, and a Horse
It's odd because both of these match my personalities very well. I often have strong opinions, but am too laid back to want to alienate anyone by talking about them. Both say that I am a ladies-man, which, uhhhhh.... isn't totally how i would describe myself

Re: What's your Zodiac sign?
I found a big defention of Aquarius online. Does it sound like me?
Anyway. If you want to do yours, here is the link /www.annabelburton.com Then come and post your starsign here! the Airy Aquarius Character Aquarius THE WATER BEARER is the sign of the thinker Aquarians are extremely independent, they just will not be tied down for long. Their firm views and opinions can change to stubbornness if they are pushed into a corner. Nevertheless they are very faithful and supportive in the right relationship. Even though they may get thoroughly involved within a relationship aquarians need to preserve their privacy and independence. The bright side Aquarians are usually lively, inventive and oh so original! Sailing in the opposite direction to the crowd comes naturally to aquarius, in fact this does not worry them, as they are always out of step with the world because they think ahead of their time and revel in anything different. As aquarius thinks today. so the world will think tomorrow. Aquarius is the most happily eccentric sign in the zodiac. Although it can be very difficult to get close to an aquarian, this fixed sign is loyal and faithful. Should you ask an aquarian for help, you will immediately get it, and all promises will be kept (at some point in the future). However please note that a helpful aquarian is very averse to being deliberately used. Aquarius is adept at taking information from several channels and processing all the numbers to see the big picture, and they do this while you think they are ignoring you! Sometimes this information is seemingly detected on their own private radar. Humanitarian, friendly, independent, quirky, willing, progressive, an original thinker, inventive, creative, loyal, idealistic yet rational. The dark side Aquarians are very unpredictable, they can be chaotic or calm, stubborn or flexible, rebellious or helpful depending on how they feel and what their own senses tell them. This is a sign which can in extremes be totally dedicated to being unconventional, being wired the other way round. This is a sign which can become detached to the point of coldness, stuck in a rigid and unrecognisable pattern. Aquarius has no care for what the world thinks and logically pursues their own set of social values. The isolation this brings is often a surprise, despite the super reliance on other senses, they can miss the obvious. Very unpredictable, eccentric, rebellious, contrary, tactless, stubborn, perverse, emotionally oblivious. Heeehee, I just had a look at the pairings. My GF is a libra, and they say Librans and Aquarians are a perfect match. Chu!
