Any Skaters Here?

are there any skaters here in the ZU forums besides me and if so what deck do you skate? i personally love element (hence the avy) because they have so much pop

i dont think there are many here. Skating and Zelda dont seem to mix well. I for one, do skate. but i got my deck in 7th grade and haven't gotten a new one. I got a World Industries deck with independent trucks (at the time it was cool, but im begging for something else). and my favorite skater is Bam Margera

yea bam is awesome, and world industries are ok, but i dont like independent trucks (too heavy).

i have an element deck with tensor trucks, spitfire wheels, and speed demons bearings and my favorite skater is kerry getz with bam at a close second

i'm one, i ride the firm. with grind king trucks, i forget which one... what tricks u guys do?

im not great or anything, i dont even know if you'd call me that good but i can shuvit, kickflip, heelflip, varial flip, 180, primo, boardslide, lipslide and besides that i just ollie off docks behind kroger and stuff

yea, your he basic skater, no biggy, im the same way, but your primo... do you do it moving? i'll list my stuffs

ollie/switch ollie/ nollie/ fakie ollie/ heelflip (no kick flips yet)/ kakie heel flip, primo (moving, only did it once)/ 180 ollie/ 180 fakie/ boardslides/ nose slides/ crooked grinds/ (ive done it a couple times) fakie varial heelflip (on accident lol) anda couple other stupid things... i havent mastered each of those, i quit at end of 9th and i just started up again (like a week ago) im goin into 11th

well i cant bust out like a rodney mullen or anything but if im on a downward slope, say at a skatepark, yes i can do it moving. and you know something, i totally forgot about fakie stuff lol. i can do a fakie heelflip, fakie shuvit, fakie 180, and nollie as well as all the other stuff i listed....but i just recently tried to fakie varial flip off a shipping dock at some abandoned warehouse and i think it was a piece of old fence went into my leg and i got tetnis and crap so im afraid to try it again

lol, yea i wasnt saying u suck, but not to many go past where we're at. i knew u could fakie, its not hard. one thing i do suck at is gaps... ::cries looking at scabs all over arms and hands and shoulders and shins and back... wow, now that ithink about it, im pretty lucky consideren i wasnt wearing a helmet and my head didnt gethit once outta like 5 HUGE falls.

yeah i had huge falls. the reason my deck sux is cuz when i was in 7th grade, that was the most popular. but i cant stand my deck anymore and i need something light, like an element.

i ride a blank CCS black with grind king trucks and spitfire wheels....independent bearings and hardware. independent is my fave company...i can ollie/rock&roll/fakie rock&roll, and i can almost kickflip. i can ride a half pipe ok too

i gots me a walmart board nah jk i got a birdhouse board phantom trucks and i forget everything else, and i can board slide manual kickflip 50 50 grind ollie (of course ) thats about it i havent skateboarded much since i got on ZU and my ankle being broken twice... so yeah

yea... i WILL have that the firm board... but ight now... i do use a walmart board... seriously, it sux, but it gets the job done

and if you dont know what a rock to fakie is, its when you go up on a halfpipe and just stall and go back down fakie

it would be called a fakie rock cause see when its regular into fakie its rock to fakie rite? well its fakie rock when your fakie and you come out regular. play thps, it helps you learn just about every single trick. thats how i know all the tricks and thats pretty much why i started skating

I'm I beginner, does that count. Can't do any tricks, my board, it's a $10 one I don't want to mess up a real good one so I'll get a better one when I get a whole lot better at skateboarding:p Is that the only thing you like in the extreme sports area or do you like BMX, in-line, ect?

yeah im saving money. actually i was thinking of a FIRM board (thanks for mentioning it LinkMessiah) because i am highly impressionable and i just downloaded a Bob Burnquist video. Any recommendations on trucks (cuz i hate independent). But i want kinda heavy ones cuz my very first board's trucks broke when i grinded on them. suggestions?
