What do you drive?

I don't think there was a thread like this, but if so you may lock it.


Anways, this is for who ever has their license. Here you can discuss what kind of car you drive and all the special do-dads and thingies your car or truck has. And also because I'm interested to hear what you guys use to get around the block.
For me, I drive my 1990 Oldsmobile. About the only cool thing I have on it is a cassete player. But at least I can hook my cd player up to it. Both front hub cabs have fallen off, the rear view mirror has fallen off, an I've needed an oil change for about a month now. I wish the Pimp My Ride show would pimp my ride.
Well, hopefully some of you have better rides than I do.

I really do love this car. It's a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire SE. It is a rather common car, but I love it. It's affordable, relatively good driving, and suits me fine. I plan on having it for quite some time. And it only has about 27k miles on it right now. It *better* last me awhile!!

I drive my parents' 1996 Chrysler Intrepid whenever I actually drive (rarely).

I'd really like a hybrid if I must drive at all, though.

I have a 1996 Ford Ranger. It's black, 2-wheel drive, and has a manual transmission. It's certainly not the grandest vehicle on Earth but I like it.

Plus with the price of gas these days, it's an awesome truck to have.

Yup, that's my new car now. 1997 Honda Accord LX. It has about 90K miles on it, and my Uncle bought for me two months ago. It had a cassette player first, but I got my CD player installed. It's automatic and very smooth. Better than my old car.

I drive a small, 2000 model, pewter colored, GMC Sanoma. It only costed me $6500. That was the price on the windshield, and my parents always told me to never settle for the windshield price, but they said it was a really good deal. It doesn't have anything really special in it, but it looks good, and it gets me where I want to go.

Speaking of cars, how many people totaled their first cars? *Holds hand up .* This is why I believe your first car should be a hunk of junk that sells for a few hundred dollars. When you learn to drive like a pro, you can buy the GMC Sanoma.

I have... a Honda Civic DX. I was making a three-point turn and this guy hit me. He was speeding down and didn't stop for me, and who get's the blame? Unfortunatly me. But after a week, I got my other car. I was lucky to get it that fast.

Well im only 13 junky so I drive a lollol hahahha 18HP Craftsman tractor with By passed governer, pollished intake, flowmaster muffler, pipes, Streat Glow 5 Red neons under neath, Ive done alot of work to the 18HP Briggs engine like rebuilding the carb, new coil, by passing the governer for about 75% more RPMs, Flowmaster muffler, cold air intake .pollished. Also Ive messed with the gear box.
It goes like 60mph and I love to race it with my friends.

A mountian bike and I love to ride it. Gives me good exercise and I see more of the city. But as soon as I get my drivers license, I hope to get a '95 Jeep as I'd like an SUV thats not so much of a gas hog.

Three mountain bikes and a scooter. Mostly one-handed.

I drive(well not legally) a 1995 Buick Skylark, white with a blue pinstripe, great smooth drive, less then 100,000 miles on it and its 10 years old now, great car, cant wait to actually legally drive it.

I've only got my mountain bike and my two feet, at the moment. As said countless times before, driving simply does not interest me, not enough to own a car and pay insurance, anyhow.

But hey! My grandmother has often spoke of giving me her Camaro Iroc-Z, though I'm unsure whether that was in jest or not. That'd be downright awesome, though. But still, I'd have to pay insurance. And at my age, that's simply not something I'd consider worth the money when I can get around and get excercise for free.

So, basically the plan is that once I get my license, I'll just take my dad's Ford Taurus out if and when I need to.

When my Mum lets me our 1988 Nissan Pintara (called penelope by the way)
Failing that the mountain bike I have had since 1998.
Also I make use of public transport (just the bus around here) especially if I can get a lift (mum again) to the shops but there is no suitable time to meet and get a lift back.

Tsukasa, did you know that even if you don't want a car, you still have to pay insurance? I don't know about the state of Arizona, but in North Carolina, I had to get insurance to get and keep my lisence. It was called DL123 and I was paying $160 a month. Hopefuly in that state, things are not as bad as this state.
