I have and will always be a firm believer that there is no greater warrior then the samurai. bound by honor and duty their skills in swordmanship, martial arts, archery, horseback riding and poetry, flower arranging and other such arts. The samurai was both a fierce warrior and a refined artist. Ontop of that there is no weapon greater then the katana...
But Nahh, the ways of the ninja suits me more. I wouldn't get my head chopped off just because I was defeated.
Ninjas didn't give a crap, they are hired assassins and the most important thing to them is to do the job and claim the money, no honor, no duty. Dirty tricks and deceit are their ways to get the job done if you can stop them than maybe you're ready for the world.
Knights are some what like samurais except they don't kill themselves. They have high traits of chivalry too. Bound to honor and protect their kings and people. To me they suck. Nothing more than a patriot.
Pirates, talk about dirty talking, bombarding territories, stealing, and endless hunt for treasure. If only they brushed their teeth. Pirate's are known for their street smarts (or should I say sea smart?) they sail and sail and kill anyone who try to mess with their stuff. And not to mention they have skin as tough as leather. But I dont fancy and eye-patch
Shaoling Monk, these guy can never get a girl in their lives because like knights and samurai they are meant to stay clear of corruption and uphold the honor. These guys can fight when it comes to hand to hand combat. Impossible jumps, eerie meditating powers, and moves that can shatter rocks to powder. But I'm not religious.
Which are the best of the best to you if all the above challenged each other in a battle to the death?
In terms of just interest, I prefer pirates. I've had a strong interest in pirates and piracy since I was little; and still find their history facinating. Though I would never want to be one. The life of a pirate was anything but desireable, at least by today's standards. And not a large number of them ended up escaping the gallows as it was.
As for the rest of those, Ninjas, Samurai, and Shaolin Monks have never really interested me in anyway. They're pretty cool in movies and such, but the real-life ones just didn't spark my interest. Knights I'm interested in on a certain level, especially in terms of the "legendary knights" like in the stories of King Arthur.
So I guess that out of all of those, it would be pirates. They may not be the best in terms of fighting or anything (far from it), but I find them the most interesting, followed by knights and then the rest in no particular order.
Knights are my favorite because they have more efficient weapons like the joust so lets say a samurai and a knight charge at each other on horses the knight is going to win because he has the farthest reach and will knock the samurai off the horse.also the knight has the greatest protection compared to the other choices.
Ninjas !!!!! They would probably be the one's that would win the fight because they would play some dirty trick...or get someone else to do it for them (why do today what you can get someone else to do for you?) I wouldn't really fancy actually being a ninja but sticking to the shadows and multi-slacking is what I do best so that's a few of the ninja traits.... I think. oh, well...time to go scare my sister from behind the couch (that's close enough to a bush, right)
