have you ever felt like you want to kill yourself???

have you ever felt like you want to kill yourself or just run away from the fears and pain of reality,i have several time and tried to twice,now i suffer from an opposite of me(split personality)he calls himself loque,he thrives off my pain and misery,when i cant control my anger,he takes over and when he takes over im helpless,all i can do is watch him take over me until i gain control somehow.
the rage i get is from school,injury on my foot,family and others i havent got to terms with but annoy me anyway.
does anybody feel this way???

I don't but my brother does. Killing yourself never resloves anything. All it does is cause more pain and suffering on others. If you truly feel this way, you need to get help.

No, I have never felt suicidal. And by the looks of your post, you might want to seek help.

Every time I felt pissed off, I felt homicidal, due to my attitude problem. And what sucks is that I lash it out on my family. So yeah, I've never felt like killing myself.

I think everyone has. I think its nateral to think it. Maybe its a little uncommon to be sec away from doing it but everyone thinks it or has the urge at bad/sad/emotonal times.

Well, at some point in the week I think about how I have no place in the world except to be a Zelda obsessive lesbian and that I am worthless because I'm too scared to get a job and I'm afraid to go inside public places by myself sometimes because of my anxiety attacks. So I feel like C-R-A-P for a while...but then I play a video game or watch an anime show and I'm happy again.

Yeah I can relate to that also, although I'm not a Zelda obsessive lesbian. :p

If this topic was here about a month ago when my girlfriend broke up with me god knows what I would have said then.

I'm just waiting for someone to come along and say that we all need mental help...

Anyways, not really. Sure, sometimes I get pissed but I never really thought about killing or even hurting myself. When I'm in a bad mood, I usually just relax and listen to music, it helps me.

I've once planned to run away. I have cut myself a few times. . . .btu I've stopped. I've thought about killing myself, but then I relised I don't like guns, blood, and I don't want to choke myself. Other than all those, I haven't done anything else.

I sometimes do.....I almost DID (by almost jumping out of the window).........but I turned back cause I was WAY to scared........I ran away one time in the middle of a flood......but nothing happened to me, but I got grounded.......BIG TIME

No, because life doesnt get that bad. Suicide is the most cowardly thing anyone could do. My advice is get over it and live your life. School and a foot injury can't be that bad. and if you actually have a split-personality, seek help. Its not safe for you or those around you.

man i have felt like running away but as far as killing myself whoa no thanksi think i can handle the real world yeah it's not perfect but what in this world is? nothing if you really feel like you have split personalaty's then you should get help man thats not safe

Almost everyone feels this way sometimes, I have thought about that sometimes but I will never kill myself it just makes things worse.

suicide is the stupidest thing any person can do, my gradmother was depressed and commited suicide, and about the little voice, id just ignore it, he doesnt exist and if you cant controll him you might want to get some help from a psichiatrest(spelled incorrectly) what ever you do, do not comit suicide

I've tried to kill myself once. Take a hint in my account name! I get depressed at times. Sometimes emotional pain is too much, I start feeling numb, and I start forgetting things. People being mean, school, parents fighting, and other things. I talk to my psychiatrist sometimes, it doesn't really help though. I do realize that suicide is pernament, so I decided to not do it. I just try to ignore this and try to be happy. I understand your emotions Vinnie0107, suicide's not the answer, and I love Hazz. (I hate this stupid dare)

Anyway, I haven't felt like commiting suicide, but I have felt like just stabbing myself in the leg before. That (or those) incident was something completely unrelated, though.

For you, I think you need to get a grip on stuff. Realize that if life is so bad that you feel you need to end it, then you need to force it to get better. Go out, leave home, and start life as a hobo if that's what you need to do to get away from your supposedly wretched life. Just do whatever you think will work (that's legal....don't kill anybody). About your Loque, tell him to think up a name that's more pronounceable, and then threaten to castrate him if he acts out of line again. 'Course, this little exchange of words will prove you're mentally unstable, but that's just a minor inconvenience. Unless you get taken to the happy house.

Hm. Yes, I've tried to kill myself many times without anyone knowing. But I won't say what I tried to do, oh and I usually thought of running away a few times when my parents used to fight.

Sure, of course I have. I'm sure most people here (note the word: "most") will feel the same way sooner or later. It's part of life, really.

As for committing sucide, I have the thoughts before but that was long time ago. Things were not going my way and for three months in a row, school was pounding me so much that I only got an average of three hours of sleep every night. I dreamt about school when I was sleeping and I lived my life in school when I was awake. I have around 10 hours of school from Monday to Friday. My friends and I have to study on weekends, even national holidays. 4 midterms in one day, and god-knows-how-many-finals I once have had. Life was grim for me and when I failed the first year university program, I was devastated.

I did hurt myself through, with small razors, but the cuts weren't deep so they have already healed up and hardly any scar can be seen. Now I treasure my life. I realized how stupid I was to be defeated by a mere educational process. Schools shouldn't be the reasons enough for me to toss away my life; and I definitely don't want to go down that road again. It was very terrifying.

When you are depressed, my advice is go outside for a long walk in the woods (if there are any) by yourself. Don't think about anything. Just think about how peaceful it is by yourself. Do some sports, PLAY! Don't hole up in your room for a month (like me).

Split personality? Suicidal thoughts? I hate to sound so redundant, but you really should talk to someone about that, and not just people on a forum. Trust me, it's not the same as talking face to face with someone you trust and/or care about.

As for the question, no. I've never contemplated it. What I have tried to imagine is what gives people the courage/stupidity to try it themselves. There's no way in hell you could get me to pull a trigger pointed at my head, sever my skin intentionally or inflict any mortal wound upon myself. There's just no way.

My advice is to take your rage and sadness and write it down in a journal to get it out of you. Talk to a friend you can really trust and if you can't trust anyone talk to you pet. If this doesn't work visit a doctor or talk to your school nurse. If a person keeps treating you like crap by making fun of you just remember they are just words and you know who you are. If you really are angry with that person take your rage and unleash it on his face.
