Damn. I didn't know hornets were that deadly. I figured 100+ of the little suckers would jump on a hornet and kill it, then work together on the next. But... apparently not. That was, as said in the clip, a slaughter. Poor little things. =/

Well, its simply mini fibre optic cameras going into a bee shed (man-made), and watching the hornets simple ploughing through a swarm of bees, fending off the odd attacker and decapitating those in its path. The reality is that the hornets were scaring the bees off =\ Like a big bully in a swarm of 4-eyes.

Cool.... did anyone notice that at about 1 min and 35 sec in it looks like two bees are getting it on with a chunk of something. (posibly another dead bee.)

haha, i was kinda scared (im terrified of bee's I admit) and this movie really freaks me out. I felt things crawling on my back and was scared a bee would sting me (pathetic I know, I know). I like hornets though, they kick ass. *cough* fake movie *cough* Maybe it's real I dont know, Im just gonne assume it's fake to make me feel better aight?

Man, what a great movie, I had great seats and free tickets.
The camera angles and choice of music really made this confrontation seem like some great human battle. Very Berry Cool.

Oh oh, but have you heard of the bees who gather around a hornet and raise their body temperatures to kill it?? Yes, very awesome.

At first when I saw this I ws like ,"What the hell?" I'm like 30 hornets vs. 30,000 bees the hornets were outnumbered but,a 1000 bees dead per hornet thats just insane.

That's disgusting. I completely hate bugs, especially bees and hornets. They're just so disgusting and annoying. But I'm amazed to see that 30 hornets killed 30.000 bees.

I've had a lifelong fear of bees and hornets... now I'll have more sympathy for the bees. And I'll get my katana out as soon as I see a hornet. :p

What a lousy documentary.
The content was kicking rad, but the sound effects, the music, and the silly deep voice was just plain stupid and ruined it all.

I personally enjoyed the munching noises that the hornets made definitely sounded as though they were tucking into something juicy and full of honey inside!

I completely think the opposite of what you said Peefy, especially with the bit when the first hornet nears the hive and with each step you hear that drumbeat! lol
