Bought a car!

A while back I posted this thread, celebrating my passed theory test.

Well, I've got my test booked for mid-October, but I may postpone it by four weeks to get some extra practice, but even more excitingly, a couple of days ago I bought me a CAR!! I've been driving down some quiet country roads to get some practice in, and going around the block; it's really good, 'cos I can get used to the different (and rather fiddley) biting point on my clutch.

Now to get that roof rack fitted and a radio/CD player put in...

WOW COOLIE... what kind is it? I really hate gears don't you lol. But I'm really interested lol

Gear changes troubled me to start off with, but they're second nature, now.

Wow coolie. I have an america car in scotland coz my mum loves them soo much. Its a Ford too. But the good thing is that I don't have any gear stick on mine ::grins:: Well have you been in a drive with your kids yet? they must be pleased.

Ford Escort wagon? it is something cool on getttign a car to use with your license, it always helps.

I have a Ford, it is an old 64 1/2 Mustang, i need to do all the work on it Body work mostly and then i can drive, i need a license or permit too, but thats just a technicality. My dad would have rather have me pick a different car, all our others are of Mopar roots. :rolleyes:

YAY GO MY LITTLE NISSAN STANZA! And the best part, I never paid a dime on it... it was my aunt's, but she thought it was "dead" when the only problem was that there was too much oil in the engine... so that was drained, and the car runs FINE... the only other thing that's been done to it is the Water Pump was replaced... >_> Plus, it's a manual transmission, so, I am 31337 with groove!

Watch out, now all the girls who like cars and not the guys will hit on you (not on ZU, in real life)

Yes, and they stressed the HELL out of me when a police car went past as I was trying to turn in the road.

"Dad- guess what?"

"Arrrrgh- SHUT UP!!! I've told you 8 times not to talk to me- I need to conentrate!!!" (Starts uncontrollably shaking).
