Job Interview

I have a job interview at Delta Electrix (an Australian electronic retail franchise) and i need help, I know what to wear to the job interview but i am unsure as to what i should bring to the job interview.

The position is for sales, like selling fridges and t.vs and computers. I know a fair bit about computers and stuff.

Please help, the interview is tomorrow at 2:30 pm Australian time.

Re: Job Interview

Why should you take something to a job interview? You just go in there, make a good first impression (smile, shake hands with the interviewer...), and have a general chit-chat about your life and your CV.

Well, I guess it's easy talking for me, you have to do it. Either way, good luck!

Re: Job Interview

Well the only thing you need to bring really, is your CV (or resume if you want to call it that). Make sure that you've filled this out very well, as it will most likely be the basis of the interview. It was for me in all three interviews I've been too (I've gotten all three jobs, too, I might add).

Make sure that your CV is completely up to date, and you should also search the internet for the standard CV setup for your region (Australia?) - That will leave the best impression. You should also make sure that you've got all relevant information about you and why you're fit for the job listed FIRST in the different sections of the CV, and then after that you can add the more general stuff which you think is good for building a better impression of your character.

You should also think about why you are a good choice to them, because they will most likely ask you why they should hire you, and what you can add to their store.

Good luck!

Re: Job Interview

Good luck on the interview.

If this helps, I went on my interview for my part-time/summer job (working at a supermarket, nothing exciting) a few months ago. I was nervous and I thought I didn't do well at the interview. Well I ended up getting the job so you shouldn't worry too much about it.

Re: Job Interview

Just show cofidence and don't be rude.
Because you apply for sales don't show any signs of shyness.
Do not wear casual clothing use something more formal
Well Good Luck
