Zelda Universe Temporary Forums

In the event of the ZU slowness/downness, the temporary boards have returned once again. The chat members have already fled to these boards to escape ZU being completely down, and thought the temp forums may not be new, they serve as the shelter for when things on ZU don't go... quite as expected. =P

Anyways, instead of struggling trying to access this place for now, come to the temporary boards.

Also, when this is over and more people can see this thread, note that this temporary forum will serve as the permanent temporary forums for all times that ZU goes down like this. So in the event of a ZU failure, go there if you want to continue posting. It would be wise to register, just in case.

EDIT: ZU seems to be experiencing slowness again, and may possibly go down. To all who see this, advised that you be prepared to shift to the temp boards for a bit, because things seem to be going wrong on the server once again.

Oh, and another things to add, the ZU rules ARE in effect on the temp forums. So warnings given in there WILL transfer over to here if you get them. Now... *shoves people there before ZU dies*

Don't let the temporary forums get spammed up by the people in the chat...

If they spam, they most likely won't be there much longer to do it. After all, the forum rules are in effect as said.

When the normal ZU forum is up, most likely the place won't be watched. But don't take that as an open call to go spam the place up, because once it's needed again, and spam is found... the person who did it won't be too happy.

From past temp forum experiences, I hope I can say that this will be nothing like those horrible completely spammy ones we've had before. Rather, just a place to go when the actual thing is down, that is as close to the real thing as an InvisionFree temp forum can get.

So spammers will be treated the same as they would on here. If they choose to do it, that's their fault for being stupid, I'm afraid. o-o

I get quite annoyed when the forums are shutting down every second. Is everyone else having this problem?

Yes, everyone is experiancing the same thing Sage of Lightning... thusly this is why the Temporary Forums were created. If/when ZU has server problems, just go to the temp forums. Chances are, at least one or two people will be on. As GC stated though, all of the current forum rules apply, and anything that you do there can, and will, carry over to the main forums.. (and vice versa).

Spamming on the temp boards? Oh no.

Naw >_>... I said no once, I meant it. You made those when the place was 100% dead, and you meant no harm. They actually account for a lot of activity on the place, too o-o... and it's not all spam, really, if the people posting in it aren't spamming, I have no problem.

Sorry if I sounded a bit serious... but it's always harder to make people not spam on temp boards because they think what they do means nothing... >_>... and in this case, it doesn't mean nothing.

Yeah, I joined the site. Question though, how do you get those custom ranks as I see other members with it and there new as well. Sorry if I sound like a n00b.

Do you own the temp forms, GC? Because maybe you could keep them active as an... everyday alternative.

I agree, just as a small, hyperlax ruled place where people don't give a damn

if you post in the temporaty forums do the posts get carried over like the warns/bans?

Yep, I joined, pretty good place, Invisionfree's a good place for at least a backup forum. Especially if you're unable to shell out the money for a v-bulliteb forum.

Yep, I own them. People are welcome to use it as an everyday alternative if they wish - I'm not going to stop that. However, when the regular ZU is up I probably won't be on the temp forums.

If people want to use it as an everyday place, to get away from the crazy activeness of the normal ZU, go ahead. I've added some mods already, so if they visit everything should be kept in somewhat-order.

I haven't been experiencing these "shutdowns" at ZU. Maybe because I only check it like once or twice per day, but it really hasn't happened to me so far.

For me,it happens most often on the Main Site. Anyway,I joined them. Pretty good place,for a temporary forum.

The temp site is pretty good, although it's a little too dark. Eyes hurting...@_@
I love the ninja smilies there. They're the best!
I haven't noticed any blackouts or anything. Compared to sites like fanfiction.net, this place runs very smoothly indeed.

My Qwestin wuz never answered in ZU temporary forums so im askin here.Are the rules the same?
