Chores, Work around the house

OK, for those who still live with their parents you would call this chores. For those who are in collage or on their own would call this "work around the house".

We'll today as i was doing my chores and i was getting super bored. I started thinking aboout what all of you guys do. Just so i know if i'm not alone. ^_^. Well, i know i'm not the only one who does chores, but i'm still interested in what you all do.

Me?

i have to walk my dogs
Clean my own clothes
Clean Room
clean our loft (very messy at the moment)
Do homework (yes my parents call tha a chore )

So what do you do?

(I bet atleast 3 people here will say I dont do anything.)

I have to take out the trash every weekend, and do my laundry-I get $40 a month, which as you can see i dont deserve

I used to be the sole cleaner of the house. Made sure verything was nice and neat. Only thing I didn't do were the dishes and my parents bedroom. Got paid handsomly for it, too: a less-than-deserved $20 a week.

Those duties vanished a month ago, though. I became employed and now all I have to worry about it whatever little things may be asked of me and the maintanence of my own room. Not that it's asked my room is clean, I just can't stand it being dirty, so I do it of my own volition.

I have to feed the dog 3 times a week, empty the dishwasher and take out the bins 2 times.

And I need to change my hermit crabs water and food every now and again...oh and change thier wood-shavings at least a month

-Wash dishes once a week.
-Mop the floors three times a week.
-Clean my room and washroom (but I'm lazy).
-Vacuum my room and the room next to mine and also the entire basement once every three weeks.
-Take out the trash once per week.
-Have to wash clothes if my parents are away and I'm alone.
-Have to cook (but that's not chores, that's survival).

... and blah blah blah. Enough chores for you? Heh.

At my mom's place, I've got to do the dishes, which I passionately hate. But sometimes (read: quite often) my mom does it for me for studying hard (it might be in place to note that 'hard' is relative ).
At my dad's place, I have to dry the dishes. Or rather, the cutlery and the glasses.

As you can see, I've got the responsibilities of an eight-year-old ^_^ .

Well, at my own apartment I have to do everything of course, and when I'm home at my parents house, I have to clean my room, mowe the lawn and make dinner once in a while..
I also have to deliver the newspaper to our neighbour after we've finished reading it.

I'm only 12, so not much. I take out the trash, let the dog out, feed him, clean the junk in the house, and empty the dishwasher. 12 bucks a week. I also mow the lawn and do yardwork, but I get paid seperately for that.

I am probably the most unorganized person ever. I try to keep my room clean, but it just doesn't work. My parents blissfully realise this and have stopped annoying me about it.

I have to undo the dishwasher, take out the trash and recycling bin, walk the dog, feed the dog, take the dog out late-night and make sure the computer isn't infected.

Yardwork and cleaning my room. I used to do a lot more but my parents are going easy on me since I got a job.

Chores? I have plenty of those!

Vacuum the floor or dry dishes
feed fish every day
clean cat poop every day
feed cats
clean the batheroom
take out the trash every week

And, I know there are more, I just can't remember them

I live with 4 other guys...college...

i usually wash the dishes or put 'em in the dishwasher...

i'm usually the one that sweeps up all the floors and then Swiffers them with the Orange wet Swiffer towels...

i'm always the one that takes the trash out...

3 roommates share a bathroom; the other 2 of us share the other one (which is actaully in my room)...the other roommate that uses this bathroom isnt very considerate of keeping it clean (spit all over the faucet, doesnt pull a new roll of TP on the roll, pisses on the rim of the toilet and the floor, etc.) so i keep that bathroom clean...

Ugh... I hate chores...

Clean the cat box (I have a cat)
Dust the house
Clean both bathrooms
Clean my room
Vaccume my room
Sweep the driveway
Feed my cat
Scoop out catbox everyday
Put away my clothes when clean
Put away the dishes when clean

Those are all of my chores, I hate them...

I have to take out the trash, but sometimes I close the apartment building door and I get locked out. I also clean up my room so the rest of the time is depending on me.

I take care of the entire ketchen. It is toooo much like work, i can't keep up with the other pigs in the house(my brother mostly). But i manage.

Here are my chores.

Clean up after my dog and my brother
Vaccum the house
Wash the dishes
Take out the trash
Do homework

That's all I have to do. I guess it could be better or worse

i have to take care of the laundry, feed the dogs, clean the bathrooms, wash dishes, dust, and vaccum and lets not forget the old "get your room clean" "o.k mom i'll do it in a minute".

Me:
(1)trash every day
(2)clean the dining room for dinner
(3)clean my room (never gets finished)
(4) do the laundry every week

Before I got a job, I use to clean the entire house every weekend and go to college. Now, I hardly have time for anything because I have a job. Cleaning my own room is being a pain. I don't keep it messy as I put things away, just the genral cleaning like dusting and such.

Compared to some other people I know, i would say that my chores aren't too bad. On a regular basis I have to:

- Wash the dishes (not many, considering we have a dishwasher)
- Keep my room constantly spotless (I usually wait until my bed is a heap of clothes and old socks, and then I start cleaning)
-Vaccum the house
-Wash the Car

Thats pretty much it, I reckon!
