'Contrast Plus' TVs... what are they?
I'm looking on the web at buying a TV and I noticed that some Phillips TVs have a feature called 'Contrast Plus'.
Does anyone know what this is exactly? Is it the same as 'picture plus' that I've heard of some TVs having? |

Quote:
Contrast Plus is a chip that takes the picture on a non HD-TV screen and makes it sharper. Improving the image on televisions smaller than 25 inches by a large amount. Picture Plus on the other hand are chips for HD-TV's specifically to improve the image on the non-HD cable and satellite channels. |
