"Dammit"

No this isn't another thread on vulgarity, I simply chose that 'quote' to represent what this topic is truly about.

We've all made mistakes in life, no doubt about it. We've all made minor ones, we've all made huge ones, we've all made major ones that didn't quite seem to us like major ones, and then we've made ones that were minor, but damn well pissed us off.

What are they for you?

For me, here's a list-


Choosing Auto-CAD For First Semester- For school, I had choosen Computer Auto-Mated Design for my first semester selective course. I had been told it was fun, and easy too.

Well, not with my teacher.

The guy was nice, but he was simply a bit too hard with the work. It ended up being extremley difficult for me, and as a result I got lower grades than I should, keeping my overall grade below a 90, which I really wanted to try and get. Plus, it was four months of hell. I worried myself day and day about the class, especially when I felt I was doing bad or I did an assignment wrong.

Thank God it's over...


Walking One Friggin-Second Too Fast- Arg, I swear to God I've slammed my head against the wall over and over for this one. I know I sound vague now, so lemme explain. There's a senior at my school who I've known since I was about eight, and whose family I know, as well as the rest of my family knows pretty well. But most importantly, I find her to be the hottest thing I've ever seen. Anyways, I've always wanted to just go up and talk to her once *sadly, while we've known each other for almost seven years, we've chatted about...three times*, while of course I think she's gorgeous, she's also extremley nice and fun to be around, from what I've seen and the times I've talked to her. Even better, she's Catholic, so she's somewhat of a role-model to me *yes, a female role-model to a 14 year old ***hole*.

But going on, one day before I went to my lunch period, I was heading to my Math/Computer teacher's room to hand in a late-assignment. The hall's empty, and as I'm passing by the Guidance Office, I can see an image out of the corner of my eye that looks like her *the entire thing can be seen through the windows* and it appears she's about to walk out the door. Now, this is all happening in a split second, so I have no time to calculate in my head what the hell's going on, and if it's her or not. So I walk past the door, and the next moment I hear it open up, and I look forward at one of the door's with the plexiglas windows. Off the reflection- her walking away.

Point- if I had walked one second slower or just slowed down my walking just a bit, I would've bumped right into her *not literally* and probably be able to say hi and talk to her for God knows how long.

And if you're wondering why I just don't freakin' go and talk to her without letting a dang coincidence happen, I'll tell you why-

I'm too frickin' nervous....

The mistakes I've done in life so far:
*cut my hair short in sixth-grade (looked horrible)
*joined the communist-party (wasn't quite my thing)
*joined the nazis (was deffinately not my thing)
*not raised my voice when I'm not happy about something..
*Let other people walk right over me..

I think that's about it.. Can't think of anything more at the moment

hhmm...these are mine:
~Dumped a couple of my good friends for new friends that hate me, are mean to me, and are about to just crack and say that I am annoying and want me to leave them alone
~Thought I could climb a tree but I fell and broke my ankle.

...and that is all I can think of right now.

I regret nothing I do and know that it's usually my fault.If something bad happens I accept it and see what good I can make of it.It was my choice so I don't care to whine about things.
As for bad things that happen to me random bike crashes,poor choices that screw me and suffering that can be averted are just abit.As for the girl if you don't try anything you will lose her mirren.

I regret letting about 150 people into my dads home on the night of september 10th last year... the stress from putting up with people blazing was only matched by that of the produced by others drunken destruction and two kicked in doors...

I regret moving! My school is hell. People hate smart people at my school, and they act like immature idiots! I wish I could undo that.

For me, I took spanish class, it really wasn't for me and I ended up getting a D-. There was this really good looking girl in my math class that liked me alot, and It took me to long to ask her out. By the time I did some other guy had and she said yes, probably because it she got tired of waiting for me to ask her. I've always regreted that, and now she gos to a different school so I'll never get the chance.

My mistakes that I regret the most are:
-having to cut my hair like every summer, I want it to grow long but I cant seem to be able to stand it in the summer, mabey I'll stop this summer.
-taking french class, I have good grades and all, but last year there was this hot girl teaching french so I chose it for this year. And now some guy who is really flambouyant or whatever teaches the class and its so terrible! we do nothing productive in his class and I cant remember anything in french other than bonjour.

Heh, I don't ever intend to actually 'have' her. Especially now, when she's three years older than me and I'm still 14. What I'm shooting for now is just finding a way to talk to her, since like I said I've known her and her family for years, and she's extremley nice. Even better, she goes to my church, so I'll see her eventually. I don't want a relationship, just a chance to get to know her better and talk to an old friend.

Yes for all those who don't quite get it yet, I'm in no way trying to pull a Romeo

mirren, not to be offensive but most of the time when you aim for an older girl you will lose, atleast this has been my experience, though I admit I attempted halfassidly. If you insist and you want to boost your appearance I suggest finding a set of 10lb dumbells and some 5s and do 30 reps of each in one stretch or until you're fatigued I started doing that and my muscle on my arms has neerly tripled, I am now doing somewhere around 200reps on the 10s now and whatever I feal I can muster on the 5s, trust me you arms will bulk up significantly if you do alot of curls, and make sure that your working both your biceps ad the triceps with each rep for best results.

Hmm... my "Dammit!" moments include:

1) Not turning a corner when I have enough time before another car comes. (Driving, you know...)
2) Seeing I barely have enough gas to get to the gas station, and not having enough money to fill the whole tank up.
3) Telling this guy I liked that his feet are really small and offending him, causing him to hate me for the rest of the year.
4) Discovering I left my car lights on when my car won't start at the end of the night...
5) Forgetting about an assignment that was due in class.
6) Forgetting about anything.
7) Not having enough money to buy something I really want.

I have a lot more. I say dammit alot....

I'm talking from experiece here it isn't hard to talk to girls especially those you know.If you want to get to know her just look for an opertune moment like a church,school,mall,or just when your families are visiting each other.Sure nervousness is a problem when you talk to good looking girls but you'll grow out of it.Also since your not trying to date her it just makes her easier to talk to.And above all you need confidence my friend(apparently what you see in repeated dating movies is true).

Note:this information can be used to get a girl if anyone is looking for that and for futher knowledge a girl being 1-4 years older is ok to date and vice versa(guy being 1-4 years older).

Yah thats pretty much it.

Like thers said, I say dammit a lot! some moments are
-when I get caught doing something
-forget about something i think are important
-screw up on something big
-do bad at school
and there is a lot I didn't list because i don't have the time to list it

My biggest moment would have to have been when I Gashed mt chin open cuz my hands were in my coat so i couldnt break my fall. 13 Stitches...ugh.

My 'dammit' moments:

- wanting to ask this girl out and the one time I had the chance, I was too nervous. That was last year some time and I haven't seen her since.
- Everytime I get in a car I tend to hit my head as I get in
- Taking chemistry in year 11 and 12, it just doesn't make any sense, I managed to get a 'C', though, so that's good.
- Not going on the 'Kamikaze' at the Annual Show in my town. Every year I say 'I'm going on it this time' but when I get there, I'm too chicken to go on it. This year will be different! Maybe...
- Not having my Provisional Licence after a year and a half on my Learners. I just don't have enough money to afford lessons and I can't use my parents' car very often because it's not insured (when I say not insured I mean just that, it's not insured for anybody).

Heh, what's funny is that I'm going to start doing that. Every day I'm gonna do a bunch of push-ups, curls and stair-jumps. Then come summer, I plan to go over to my older cousin's house very often and work-out with him in his basement. I swear he's got a mini-gym down there
