Has anyone ever seen a ghost?

I have never seen a ghost, but I would like to know TRUE stories about ghosts and what it felt like to be around them.

I've seen 1 Ghost, but felt many around me. Call me crazy, but I swear I did. My sister called me upstairs to see if I saw what she did. It appeared to be a teenage white woman. My sister claims she is able to see many ghosts. They were all children though, well at least the parents were there but they "Crossed over" Before the children. Then my sister only saw children but most of them crossed over. She said a while ago she still sees a little girl, but she hasn't said anyting in a while. The thing that made the teen different my mom my sister and I were all able to see it instead of just my sister. It was blue and I recently say it there like last week again. Harmless I'm sure, but also there. Also something weird my sister had a hamster that always got out, we litterally put 5 pounds of books in front of her cage, they had all fallen over and she was out of the closed cage. Are hamsters that strong? This was in my sisters room also.

I see ghosts and spirits of the dead and the unknown. I see them all the time wondering around, moaning and groaning. But yes, I've seen them and talked to them. People say I'm crazy, but I only speak of the truth.

I think I've seen ghosts, and I'm pretty sure my house (or at least basement) is haunted.
I say I think I've seen ghosts 'cause the ones I see don't really match up to the stereotypical kinds people see, much like the one's M_I mentioned. The ones I see aren't recognizable as people. They're sorta like people-sized clouds of smoke. My whole family sees them, but we don't really pay much attention to them anymore. They're rarely outside of our basement and they don't do anything. Just float around. Every so often we go down there and find stuff had been knocked over, and we like to joke that they had thrown a party or something and caused a mess, but that was also back when our house would shift on its foundation in the winter, causing it to shake, so we would also attribute that to their wild parties; now we just get the knocked over stuff. But other than that they don't bother us, and we don't bother them. There's probably a logical explanation for whatever they are, but I like to think that they're ghosts.

Frankly, I wouldn't trust anyone who has 'seen a ghost' with a piece of string.

I have never really "Seen" a ghost but more or less I have been in the presence of one. I can sometimes hear people talking when I am home alone and in my basement. It really creeps me out.

Well, if any of you are actors you would know about the tremendous amount of superstition involved with the theatre. For one thing, you are never ever suppose to say Macbeth on stage (or in a theatre). It is the worse thing you can do. Anything bad can happen to you, even death. I remember, I had said Macbeth during one of my performances and on my way home my sister told me that my grandmother (God rest her soul) had passed away in her sleep.

Oodly enough, in the next performance I was in. My friend made the same mistake and that day his grandmother passed away. Coincidence? Perhaps. I am too tired to explain why it is bad luck. Maybe later, or if anyone shows interest.

Yes, I've said it before. We used to live with a female ghost. I hated it, she used to stomp on our bathtub and then run in our hall and then turn the TV on and switch channels. She also sighed once, my mother heard it.

I don't know what the heck happened once, but I held my mother's hand while saying "Who is that woman, mom? Do I have two moms?" while looking at the ghost, but I don't remember actually seeing her. It's like I can't memorize how she looked, for some reason.

That all happened when I was 2-3 years old. I have very early memories.

I have thought once that I have seen a ghost but I wasn't really sure if I was dreaming or not. I was half asleep when I thought I saw one.

my grandma was looking over me and sensed she was saying 'it will be alright'. Whatever that means.

My best friend said that she could see the ghost of her little sister who had passed away at an early age. I've never seen any ghosts before though.

I've never seen any ghosts, I believe they are there though, anyway, I thought that humans can't see ghosts but they can sense them.

I have never seen a ghost before, but our house makes strange noises. One night as I was alone, I was downstairs watching TV and I heard someone walking upstairs. It wasn't my imagination because my dog raised up his head. I didn't see anything upstairs, and still after that, we hear odd noises. I am just used to it these days...

Until i see a ghost i am not going to believe in them.

I've never seen a ghost, but I've seen demons. Now don't jump to conclusions that I'm a witch or sumpthing, but In my old house I got this clown lamp for my birthday and at night it would turn it's head and look at me and start talking, I can't remember what it said. Then later we moved to a new house that the person who lived there before was into demon worship. At night they would either walk through the walls, doors, or from the closet. There where blue transluciant ones that had red eyes but no mouth or nose. There were shadows that walked along my wall, and there were snake ones that slithered out of my closet. And other veriaties.

I wonder why no one's ever taken a picture of one of these ghosts, since some people seem to have frequent encounters with them...
I do believe in Angels and Demons, because they're in the Bible, though I don't think they stomp on bathtubs or turn TVs on, or whatever.

And I'll bet 1/3rd of you are lying about seeing ghosts, or it was an overactive imagination. Sorry if I sound distrusting, but I've known some people that will lie about anything to get attention. Hope that's not you.

Although I haven't seen one, the house I live in is a classic example of one that is haunted. For instance, in one of our hall closets there is some writting on the wall. Well we've painted over this writting at least a dozen times and the writting is still visible.
