Purberty: voice

I;ve already gone through purberty but i got a problem. Im 14 turning 15 sept 4, im 5,8" i have hair under my armpits and below i dont got hair on my arms or legs and nor hair on face. heres the problem. last year (13) i sounded like a girl and over the summer when school started up i as 14 and My voice changed it got a lil deeper but it never went through the stage of it goin out for a day or the high pitch thing it just happened, then today i found out that I still sound like a girl but not as bad but still do. Is my voice goin to gte deeper or will it sound like this forever?

it's kinda hard to say...i say just forget about it, don't worry, just get your mind off it. Just let mother nature do her job.

Yeah, I agree with Cedric, just don't worry, begin worrying when you are 18

Well, if you do have this kind of voice forever, in 100 years, who cares? I have a very deep voice, and my laugh is weird, I always get poked fun at for that. =P

You still have a lot of time for the changes to take full effect so no worries and as Cedric said "Just let mother nature do her job."

All I can say is that I envy your lack of hair.

I wouldn't worry any. Your voice will probably continue to change and probably deepen a little more as you get older. Don't worry about facial hair either. Consider yourself blessed if you end up never having to shave! ^^

Everyone has a different voice so even if your's doesn't change anymore it's alright! It's just another character trait to add to your own uniqueness.

My boyfriend had the same problem, but once he turned 15, it faded away and now he has a DEEP Spanish voice. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

*sigh* I remember coming back to school my 9th grade year and being freaked out by how much all the guy's voices had changed...

Anyway, I think you still have a few years to go. It seemed like it really kicks in when you are 15 or 16. And some people just have naturally high voices... you never know.

Don't worry about it. Your voice will change in a year or 2. It's probably just a little late. I wish I wasn't so hairy. I'm a girl. My voice is deep, it's deeper when I'm singing. Enjoy your squeaky voice while it lasts. Once it goes, it won't come back!

well I have ALOT of hair under the arms and below but my arms arent hairy and my legs aint hairy they have hair but not alot and tahnx guys for the help i'll just relzx and it will change in a year or 2 (hopefully) can't wait. you know I come here for help more then anything. This is much better then parents or friends.

If you don't have hair on your face or legs, you haven't gone through puberty yet. Most guys don't stop until they're 18 or a little bit older. Don't rush it, most guys sound like girls.

When my voice was changing it took around six months to fully develop, but I know people whose voice was cracking for a year or more. Don't worry about it. Almost every other guy goes through it, so just live with it and you'll be a hairy adult in no time.

Dude, 18 is the year when your hormones are done developing, I'm havent even completed puberty! But I will in the next 6 months, but who cares about stats. You just have to wait, I promise, if you have hair and are attracted to girls, and you can get a woman pregnant that's what matters. My friend has a really low voice an we make fun of him, lol. So you go out there and speak your high voice out.

Yeah dude Unfortunatly it hit for me at 12 and got poked at for it. I'm 14 and just barley gettin facial hair alltho my voice is really deep. And just go with what everyone above said. you will be ok.

Ja, don't worry. Mine didn't change till around 14 to 15. No I have a pretty deep voice, gets really deep when I speak German, it's almost creepy, let's just say I don't look like I should have the voice I do have. I had hair for over two years before my voice change. People go through it at different rates so just relax, it will happen before you know it.

I envy you... I may have a deep voice, but I am a shorty. And while being a shorty may have advantages for getting into small places or sneaking around, you just aren't respected as well. You aren't taken seriously, because people assume that if you're small, you must act your size too. If you have a high voice but are still tall, people just laugh with you because they know you're as big (or bigger) than them, and just having a "rough time" with puberty.

If you mean by not being able to speak...tis urban myth my friend. Don't worry your hormones will take its toll soon enough.

Don't worry about it. A guy doesn't fully finish with puberty 'till he's about 18 or 19. So you got a ways to go.

dude, for the most part, i think it will get deeper, cuz i am 15, and still my voice has yet to get as deep as it should, but it is getting deeper. I used to sound like a girl to. Trust me, it should not last very long
