I hate Easter already!!

A possum chewed through our telephone line and it won't be fixed until Tuesday at the earliest. My mum crashed the car last Monday and it won't be fixed for 4 weeks. My friend down the road (who's 'puter I'm using as I can't get online at home) is going away with his parents for the whole long weekend.

And to top it all off I finished MC last night....

This is going to be the longest (and most boring) four days of my life

Oh surely it can't be that bad. It's a holiday with chocolate eggs, bouncing bunnies, and sugar-induced comas! Unless you're a diabetic you could find at least a little something to enjoy about Easter. If you can't find some joy in the materialistic Easter then you can always remember the religious aspect of it.

We all hit a spot of bad luck and yours will pass soon enough. ^^

Perhaps you can spend your time completing all of the Kinstone fusions, the figurine collection, or just play through the game again. You could also find a book. There can't possibly be something you can't do.

So, since these past few days have gone poorly, you're already assuming that your Easter, which is still 4 days away, is going to suck? Then it will. If you think negatively about it now, then that's all you'll be thinking when the day comes. You'll have a much harder time enjoying your day if you can't approach it with a positive attitude.

My advice? Cheer up, girl! It's Easter! You shouldn't be sad on Easter, not over such frivolous things as those.

So your friend is going away, the car is broken and your phone is dead. You can still find something to do. Spend time with your family enjoying the holiday weekend, play though your game again, play a different game, read, draw, or whatever. There's always something to do, sometimes it's just not the most obvious choice.

Aw come on... Your not in school!! That in itself is a reason to enjoy the break. Sorry about your aweful luck though... that really bites. If I were in your postion I would hang out with my friends and family, like Tsukasa said. ^.^

okay I got you beat. one easter mhm two or three years ago, i went to the store on my bike (free agent) a 250 $ bike every thing on it was free agent. and on my way home i got hit by a car... the bike was completly destroyed, i have back issuse now, and my memory is messed up... so HA!! haha but im fine i can walk and what not but i got no money out if it.. the person that hit me fled... so no moeny for me...

Wow, girl blade. That doesn't sound have bad.
You won't have annoying family members calling to say happy easter and you don't have to drive anywhere to have a family get together.

Sounds like a blessing to me. Stay home...read a book!

Well, I personally wouldn't mind the car. I'm not going anywhere, exept for maybe some *shivers* family visits . Can miss the phone, too. There's nobody I really want to call. Not being able to go online is much worse, though. No internet... Still, you can play your GameCube (you do have one, do you ?), beat tMC again, or ummmmm... Read a book or watch tv or something? Actually, all I ever do is playing my GCN and being on the Inet. I think I could do without the latter for a couple of days :razz: . Good luck !

Man,I've never had been that unlucky before and things have to get better because,usually nothing can lift a person's spirits better than with all those Easter sweets.

Come to think of it, you say you live in Australia, right? That seems to me like a beautifull country. Maybe you can just get out, take a walk, enjoying the nature and stuff. Not only that, it helps counter the effect of too much chocolate easter bunnies .

Me feels you pain GB. And I mean quite literally, I think my legs are gonna be sore for the next week, for I played WAY to much DDRE today.

Thanks everybody for the support, ideas, advice, and condolences. Unfortunately I didn't get to read any of it until just now. I guess the weekend didn't suck entirely - though stuck at home with just my mum all weekend almost did my head in.

Hi DekuKid, I did manage to get all the figurines but I came up one short of my fusions. Killed the final boss twice too. I ended up playing BOF2 again.

Hi SacredSturgeon, it's the season of the corella around my way. That's when 300 white and yellow parrot like birds descend on the area and squawk 24/7. They roosted in our front yard once, it was just like Alfred Hitchcock!

Dark World Link, that's awful I really had no right to complain about something that is, by comparison, pretty insignificant. There are always far worse things that can happen.

Anyway, thanks again to all for allowing my vent (my first proper post ) and apologies for dragging this off the 2nd page, I just wanted to acknowledge those of you who took the time to reply

Easter sucked. I burnt my eyes with 3 things:

-Soap
-Juice
-Hair

And my easter gifts were lame as well.
