Free Photoshop

It's called The Gimp.

It's an open source image editor. It's free, and if anyone doesn't have enough money for Photoshop, this is a good deal.

Yeah, I guess this is more of an announcement than a discussion.

(Some people may know this, but I thought it was important enough to post it.)

You can get Photoshop for free, too. It's cracked, heh... I don't feel comfortable with it, and I'm going to buy it once I get the money. I just feel so guilty.

But, yeah, Photoshop's free if you know how to get it.

I tried installing before it but you need too much programs.

I have the gimp, and it's pretty good, but I got Photoshop because I couldn't use the magic wand. GIMP is OK, but I reccomend Photoshop if you can afford it.

Never used GIMP. My friend burned me a copy of Photoshop 7 over a year ago, so I'm set. But yeah, I guess if people don't have the dough, connections or willingness to download it illegally, a free image editor is a good thing. I've seen a few pretty spiffy graphics done with GIMP, so it can't be too bad.

I used to use GIMP but I have nightmares about that program.... (Very bad experiences) I wouldn't recomened it at all.... but people like HAB use it and he accually uses it pretty well... I guess you have to have some sort of skill.......... I hated it though. I could never make anything decient...

*here* Yeah, for some reason I have no problem with it. It might be because I am patient, it might be because it's a good version of the GIMP, but if I can ever afford Photoshop, I am there. I mean, if I do so good with the GIMP, then imagine what I could do with Photoshop?

Ya... GIMP is so much different from photoshop though that I don't think it will make a difference... It just isn't that good of a program though.... I guess it's okay for being free though...

I have tried to get the GIMP but you have to download like 5 files and half are zips and i dont have winzip. But hab makes good sigs and he uses GIMP.

I wanna know how to get PS free

I can't afford Photoshop,but I might get Photoshop Elements 2. The tryout is confusing,I might need to get the real thing for the directions,for troubleshooting and stuff.

Oh... Photoshop Elements.... I accually have that. My mom had no idea how to use Photoshop so we got her Elements. It is much easier to use. Not as good but it works just almost as well.

uhh...almost everyone here knows about the gipm at this point. its not really free ps eitehr its like, halfway to ps. :/ w/e i used it for a while and so did minsih boy.

It means I don't pay for anything. I don't believe in overpriced programs created by ****ty corporations.

Pay for Windows? Nope. Pay for Photoshop? Nope. Pay for my PS1/PS2/XBOX/GC/GBA/SNES/Sega games? Nope. Pay for my movies? Nope. Pay for my music? Nope.
