Re: Huge Power Outages - Terrorist Attack or Overload?

U guys, it is not terrorism........its already been confirmed, a station near niagra falls supposedly got hit by lightning. This is a rolling black out. The only thng that "COULD" happen is just local crimes and maybe a couple of murders, nothing more. I would be very suprised if it was terrorists, eve though its not.

BTW, it wasnt New York that got hit........dont be immature and balme the u.s or blame canada...........its not anyoes fault except some poor dude that ❤❤❤❤ed up or maybe even somthing as simple as lightning 0_0

Re: Huge Power Outages - Terrorist Attack or Overload?

um... i actually can't say which it was... i mean, a grid failure is logical... but a terrorist attack is a bit too. it could just be that ny knows what it is, and it may be a terrorist attack... but they're just saying it was a grid for false comfort or something... of course, this comes from my half-asleep twisted mind, so i wouldn't advise believing much from me right now...

Re: Huge Power Outages - Terrorist Attack or Overload?

ok all just listen I live in New England (heh heh I got lucky ) the power plant they showed on the news that they suspect caused the problem's smoke stack things were accually flaming. I don't meen little back yar camp fires I meen 10-15 foot flames emitting dark black smoke.Up here almost all power lines connect at one point so if one main plant goes alot go with it. But let me get this fact straight, IT WAS NOT TERRORISTS!!! I have no clue why you think so but you're wrong. We would've known if it was terrorists because it would've been ALOT more destructive.

Re: Huge Power Outages - Terrorist Attack or Overload?

If it was terroists, wich it is not, the power outage would be a first step of a much bigger plot to do somthing.

Exactly, we would've been hit by a bomb by now and I probably wouldn't be posting here right now.

They estimated either tommorow morning or tommorow night, I think that some power is on in Toronto right now

Helicopters have spotlights, yeah?

I saw it on the news this morning while I was eating breakfast, according to the statement at the time the heat had caased a grid to melt down or something.

Personally I think it's Suddam Hussein plotting to draw out all the citizens onto the streets where his firing squad of evil killer cows will blow them into next century...

Seriously though, it's a bit strange that it would effect such a large area of the U.S., I feel sorry for those that got stuck in lifts and office buildings. And in the heat, gawd.

Also, tension has been thick in the U.S., particularly after 911, so an event like this will be at least considered as a terrorist act at one point, just think of some of those this morning going without power, they had no way of knowing what the hell was going on, so for all they knew it was a terrorist attack.
