Donate - Round Two

Well as you all know, we managed to finance the vBulletin license with a "Donation Campaign" a while back.

Right about now, as some of you have noticed, we are in dire need of a server upgrade. Well to be frank, we're upgrading to another server, meaning we'll be hosting our site across two boxes instead of just one, to ensure maximum performance, because I'm sure you've all noticed that during peak hours we are having problems coping with it currently - and since we don't expect the activity to decrease in the coming months (LoZGC will make sure of that), it is absolutely necessary for us to upgrade in order to stay afloat.

So, we're running another "Donation Campaign", and this time it will go towards the new server. This will mean a monthly increase in the bills of about $100 per month, and even though I'm currently not the wealthiest guy on the planet I will go through with this upgrade at the turn of the month, but of course, support from you guys would mean a whole lot not only to me, but also the future of Zelda Universe.

Right now, we have about one month covered after Fianaa donated $100, and any contribution everybody is willing to make would be accepted with huge thanks =)

Of course, I don't want anybody to feel like they have to donate, and it won't change my view of this fantastic community even if we don't get $5 to this cause, but if anyone has a couple of spare $, then it would be fantastic if you're willing to help out the Zelda Universe and help us out!

Another server???? Wow, this site changes more than my custom rank!! Anyway, I think I'll donate about 25 dollars, becuase Like you Lars, I am pretty much broke myself.

As I asked last time, can you take a money order or something cause me and Paypal aren't on speaking terms.

Hrm.... I'm going to balance my checkbook after I get off work tonight, and I'll see how much I can reasonably come up with outside of my monthly bills.

I imagine that $20ish dollars will be comming your way. I know that doesn't sound like much, but I'm sure that there will be numerous other people who will donate as well.

Because of the fees when cashing in money orders/checks they would have to be pretty large for it to be worthwile, that's why PayPal is prefered.

And as I said Saddie and Kitten, even the smallest donations will help us out here =)

I would donate again if I wasn't so darn broke >_<. A couple more weeks and I'll probably have a few bucks extra to donate, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to, seeing as I'm still under my parents rule and am currently living off of allowance. =P

Don't have PayPal
Not allowed
Have almost nothing in my wallet, and with the medium-small ammount in my bank is goin towards a Ds and Zelda GC.

Sorry I can't donate, I just hope you get so much money that you could afford $100 a month forever(exaguration[spell?] obviously, but I hope ZU lives on forever).

Bah, I havn't been keeping up much with clicking on ads. I suppose I should start that again.

Once I get my bills and such taken care of, I will put some more money into the good ol' ZU wagon. But since I have a $400 bill to pay off, plus rent, and such, I have my financial panties in a twist...sort of speak...

By 'another server,' Lars means that the site will be hosted on the current server, and a second separate one. The two will share the load, effectively doubling the amount of requests the site can take at once.

As much as I would like to help the site,Lars, I can't,because:
