Ow..It mus have went in pretty fast for him to not realise that he had a nail go into his skull. A nail through your skull....sounds like fun.

Eww...just the idea of it makes me cringe in my seat. Man it must have taken alot not to even notice a nail in your skull...thanks Jehuty for the shear randomness of this thread.

A lady came in complaining of a headache. She had a 9 mm bullet in her head. She was also drunk. VERY DRUNK.

Oh, I saw that on TV last night when I was spending the night over at my friend's house. It was a little gross, but interesting to see a nail that got lodged in a man's skull. I didn't see it all, but it was interesting.

Sounds intriguing. While I certainly don't entertain the idea of inserting random objects into my own skull, I'm sure it wouldn't be that easy to notice. He probably was too focused on the one nail in the board, so the second wouldn't have been registered. Your brain won't necessarily give the right signal unless you know exactly what ails you. A minor toothache feels a lot different than a nail in your skull, I'm sure, but since they're in the same location you would probably think of it as the former more often than the latter.

I'm sure he'll be fine.

Shi*. Now I have a toothache. And trust me. Thar is no nail in my head. Or is there...*feels forehead* Nope. I've heard of a man with a stake in his head. Apparently, when the damage is near the head you don't feel pain. I think you just find yourself in a stage of shock which kills the pain.

Quite an odd predicament there. I hope the man can get the nail removed safely! And I hope it wasn't rusted either. Nothing worse than a nail in the head AND an infection.

How the heck did he not realize he had shot a four inch nail into his mouth? That doesn't seem to work. I demand answers!

I heard of a man who had a knife stabbed four inches into his brain, and he survived. It's crazy how they can do these type of things, such as removing a four inch nail from one's head.

Though, that is just strange. I'm baffled as to how he could do that to himself, and even more baffled as to why he didn't realize it...

I remember seeing an x-ray of someones skull that had about six nails in it recently. But I don't remember where and there was no story explaining it.

But look at the angle at which the nail is lodged in his head. It looks like it would have had to come straight up through his lower jaw. How did it come to be at that angle is my question.

And I mean really, how can you not notice a NAIL being shoot into the roof of your MOUTH? Honestly. I don't see how that's possible/

Littleton? Breckenridge? Both are very close, Breck is my second home....anyway, that guy is lucky. One centimeter to the left right up or down and he might have died. It must have missed everything in his head.

I saw this one the new eariler. Apparently his nail gun missfired and shot the nail into his head. I'm guessing that it was moving so fast that he didn't feel it. That could be the answer as to why he didn't know about it.

I saw it on the news last night.. What a dumbass.
