Re: Homework...

Well if you put it this way, how sometimes I wil get so board and tired it makes me drift off into sleep, well yes it is very relaxing. But I do it any way. Some kids at my school complain they have such bad grades and wonder how I have such good grades. And I say,"Why don't you just do the stupid homework, it helps your grade by not getting a zero every day, belive it or not."

Re: Homework...

Maybe it does, the thought of doing homework is sickening, but when you actualy get round to it, it is quite relaxing and gives you peace of mind when it is all done ready for the next day of school.

... ...

This is the first time that I've seen a person who feels that doing homework relaxes them. Well, for me, doing homework intensifies me, same with all the people around me. It's extremely stressful. So no, I never felt that way as you do, Galeros.

Re: Homework...

Well I don't like homework but I don't hate it. Homework is something to do, if I don't have anything to do. Although I can't say that it relaxes me.

Re: Homework...

Homework relaxes you? ...that's unique. I hate homework, it [like Stormcat] stress me out, I hate it. I'll be trying to do it in my room and my siblings will run in and poke me or try to talk to me, and I'll be doing math...which I suck at. But yeah, I hate school.

Re: Homework...

Can't say I like homework, but you have to admit it keeps your mind working. If I didn't have a lot of homework I'd just sit on the computer and/or GameCube/Xbox all day.

Re: Homework...

Depends on what kind of homework. Art projects relax me. Others seem to just annoy me.

Angry

  RELAXATION & HOMEWROK ARE POLAR OPPOSITES!!!

Um, ignore that last statement please.
I go to a super mega ulra extremely academic school way off in the next town from mine... its like what, third best charter school in that USA? Ugh, its not as glorious as it sounds........ TQWO HOURS OF HOMEOWK EVERY NIGHT! But at least its divided into two days of four classes, unlike "regs" (our name for regular schools, cause my school isnt private or public, its right in the middle) in which you have eight or so classes every night.

Re: Homework...

2 hours of homework every night? You got off easy. I get five hours of homework every night, and that's not including reading textbooks that can take up as much as an additional three more hours.

@ Poster-

I knew what you meant once. Wait till you get to Calculus. That will fix you. (And I said Calc, not precal)

Re: Homework...

I despise homework, and I see no reason to do it whatsoever. Most of it is so damn easy that it's a waste of time anyway.

Re: Homework...

I never saw the point in homework. It makes more sense to have longer school days where you can go to the teachers for help if you don't understand things rather then getting yelled at the next day if you had difficulties.

Re: Homework...

Homework usually isn't my favorite thing to do, but it does keep my mind going and takes some free time off my hands, plus it helps me make sure I've got the lesson.

Re: Homework...

Well I don't like doing homework but I like how it has the power to wake me up in the morning. I'm a huge procrastinator and put off things until the last minute, and by that time I'm really tired and tell myself "Oh, it's just a quick 5-minute nap..." Yeah, sure. Next thing I know my alarm goes off and if I don't have homework or I did it I ignore the buzzing, but if I didn't do it I jump up and are all like "I GOTTA GET THIS DONE!!!"
