What would you change?

If there is one thing you could change about the past year what would it be?

A nasty breakup? A big fight with the parentals? A test you never studied for? Or would you not change anything at all?

For me, I'd have to say that not making a sincere enough effort to get to know some of my friends that have long since gone to college would be one thing I'd do again. But I don't know where that'd land me in life right now, so...

Re: What would you change?

I'm not able to change any of it.
So I don't bother thinking about it.
It'll just bring me down, and I don't need that at the moment...

Re: What would you change?

Lets see... probably my English class. I would have actually read Beowulf, passed the test and the essay, and gotten a decent grade for the semester. eh... cant think of anything else right now.

I'd give people space, and not be such a codepedant, clingy ***** like I am. If I could go back in time and change something.

Re: What would you change?

I wouldn't have gotten behind on my French class.

Other then that, I am either proud of, or can live with, everything I have done.

Either to have practiced harder at guitar, or that I had been nicer to my friends.

Re: What would you change?

Hmm.... well, I don't think I'd change much of anything to be honest, despite a cr*ppy year. And it got better towards the end anyway But I could've been better in some subjects at school, but I'm competent at it all so I'm OK . One thing I'd change is that I let love get the better of me at times and I think if I had been stronger through my own demons and stuff then maybe my year might have been even slightly better.

Re: What would you change?

This year hasn't been all that bad for me. Maybe I would have done a few minor things differently. There are somethings I regret doing/not doing. Like not downloading the second-to-last chapter of the Ages manga, which I can't get any more... Maybe spend more time outside. Buy a different sketch book for Hanukkah, definatly. The one I got is falling apart already.

Just little things. Nothing major. I don't even remember all of this year...

Re: What would you change?

The year finished okay, so I probably wouldn't risk changing anything just in case it made it worse.

Re: What would you change?

I would've studied more for my Earth Science class

Even worse than my writing slumps. I knew I was having trouble, and I was too lazy to just hit the books every so often. I paid for it, and I still am...

It's gonna be a boooooring weekend...o_o

Re: What would you change?

I would change how I acted around people I did not know. I have always been a good friend and very talkative but when I am around people I don't know I become a shy, and quiet kid. I wish I would have been more talkative to people and get to know them better. Its making new friends that is hard for me but once there my friends I talk like crazy and I'm never shy.

Re: What would you change?

I would have spent less time worrying and fretting over how much or how little I got to speak to certain people (and pray for them) who I cared about, and more time making sure I was right with God and wasn't following my own foolish desires. As Jesus put it:

"Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces."
--Matthew 7:1-6

If I had done this, then all the other things I would want to have done better would have been accomplished in that better manner. My schooling suffered, some of my friendships suffered, ... However, I learned more this year in my life about myself, others, languages, the Bible, my Heavenly Father and His will for me, suffering (profitable), and a number of other life-lessons than any other year of my life. I see once again how God can and does turn all things to His good will. For that, I thank Him sincerely!

Re: What would you change?

I would change how hard I have worked in school since August and I would change my birth. Although I have A's and B's, I know I can get straight-A's, but I haven't tried hard enough.

Thumbs down

i should have participated in choosing my electives in high school. since i registered so late i did not have enough choices for my electives. but i did not choose right away and time ran out and i got stuck with this word proccesing class. its not bad to have a comp. class, but when you were to have a typing class before this one it sucks ass. i can not type fast and i am falling behind in this class and it is not even my fault.

Re: What would you change?

I wish I had spent less time at my computer.....I seem to be doing to much of it this past year.
And as usual, I wish I'd have studied more.

Re: What would you change?

I wished I would had stopped and made some new friends this year. I'll try next year to do just that. Also, I wished I would had settled something with a ex-friend of mine to find out why we stopped being friends. Otherwise, 2004 was pretty good to me.
