Haha, when I read your posts I always think of like Nessa's voice from Gavin and Stacey. You sound like an academic though! I love the emphasis on 'Knob' when you said doorknob. But you speak like your posts!

Yours was the funniest, the ongoing commentary with yourself gave me so many laughs. Especially the TP part. It also sounded like you were questioning your answers. Your awesome.

Oh I am far from academic.

Sometimes I forget I am speaking loud and so my thoughts fall out my mouth. That's the reason for the running commentary.

Bay Area people definitely have accents. Ever gone to SoCal and noticed how they speak? Yeah Bay Area/NorCal Master Race we have accent and so do they.

Double A jumps on the bandwagon. Also, he totally forgot to add that he was born in the Philippines which explains why he doesn't have a New Zealand accent.

I re-did this because my voice sounded mumbly but my voice STILL SOUNDS MUMBLY so i guess it's my microphone's fault but yeah.

America and England have been separated for a very long time, so the languages have developed differently.
Pronunciations change over time because people read words differently and have slightly different intonations when they say the word. The accepted way of pronouncing things in an area changes ever so slightly over time, until it becomes so different that different dialects occur.

England and America are completely different countries, so the differences are even greater, going as far as using completely different words for the same thing.

Had I done this a few months ago, I would sound pretty much exactly like I was just talking in Spanish.

I've improved a lot ever since I've started watching the original version of American shows rather than the Spanish dubs.
