Animal noises!

Dear Zelda Universe.
I have a confession to make.

I imitate animal noises more or less every day.

The ones I am almost good at:

• Frightened cat.
• Angry cat
• My cat ( she is very specific. 19 years and it's not fully mastered )
• Excited primate
• Ocelot in heat
• Dog yelping in surprise
• Fox in heat
• Tiger chuff ( the sound they make to greet each other )
• Irritated alpacca ( I went to the zoo last week )

The ones I am working on:

• Purring cat
• Dog barking
• Small dog yapping
• Big dog growling
• Lemur wau
• Hyena whatever they do

The ones that need special things to work:

• Canine howl ( I can do a very convincing canine howl if my throat locks down in this raspy mood )
• Reindeer whistle ( I need a vacuum cleaner pipe or such )

The ones I really like but can never get right:

• Cougar snarling
• Crocodile BELLOWING or whatever they do
• Dolphin knickering ( my best friend is expert at this )

Do you imitate animal noises, ZU? Which ones are you good at? Which ones do you wish that you could master?

TELL ME I AM NOT ALONE.

My god Buu are you an animal whisperer in some way? xD



Uh... Well being around my birds all day, I can mimic high-pitched bird noises to call them, especially when I take them to the park and let them fly around for a bit. They won't respond to anything else. I want to imitate an eagle at some point since their screams are so cool.

When something terrifying scares me, I scream like a chimpanzee. xD But I can't do it any other time.


I dunno I'm usually mute.

because of my tourette's syndrome, i have many ticks which emulate animal noises



most notably meowing. but it's not a cute meow, as much as a short sharp, MOW!

also sometimes i neigh like a horse >__>

and i like to purr when i snuggle. well really it's just me being content with a very low hum, but my voice can be rather deep and it sounds like purr.

You have absolutely no idea how amazed I am.

I go through all day, every day, meowing like a cat. I don't know why, but I do. And I have conversations with meows. Very strange.

also when people mess with my friends i turn into a robot dog and bark

I actually can do a pretty mean lion roar.

I can also imitate tiger chuff or "prusten" noises, cat meows, purrs, and leopard snarls. :3










(And apparently I can do a good Scooby Doo impression.)

I can impersonate these famous animals:

-Sheep
-Duck
-Owl
-Dog
-Cat

The sheep is my best animal noise, and probably the best noise I make. Followed by the duck.

There's this girl in my year who thinks she's half sheep or something and I had a whole conversation with her in bahhs. Not even kidding.

And I can do a pretty badass Jack Russell bark when I want to, but that's about it. XD

Sometimes I like to pretend I'm Gollum and hiss about my precious and stupid Hobitses.

I'm not sure if this counts but I am excellent at Tusken Raider yells

It SHOULD count, I came in here to say the same thing!

I also do Murlocs.

And this guy

I make a pretty good monkey.
Have been doing monkey sounds all my life, so I feel like that's something I've mastered by now.

I think I can do a pretty convincing cat purr.

I have a friend who make the PERFECT tiny dog barks.
She's so good she should be on television or something. I'm convinced she would confuse other dogs with her yapping.

i'm pretty good at tauntaun calls too

I can do Scraggly old Dying Cats. That is all

I can bark like a dog really well and howl.
I also can do cat noises. But i think my cat language has a terrible accent and is kind of offensive because my cat looks at me like i uttered a dirty word.
I can do a goat sound.

I had a friend who could mimic a crow and a chicken.

I'm told I can do an impressive imitation of a human being.

I just make noises in general. Regardless of what they sound like. But it's mostly when I'm playing video games.

I am amazing at:

-Distressed turkey
-kitty "hello" meow (I trick so many kitties into thinking I'm a fellow kitty)
-kitty sexy meow (I trick so many kitties into thinking I'm a fellow kitty looking for luvin)
-Tiny dog security bark
-Big dog "Git off my property" bark
-Chewbaccas
-Happy cows
-Guinea pigs

All I can think of right now.

I do the angry cat and hissing with my mom and sister. lol

It guess it pays off to live in a catty neighborhood...cause then you can proudly post in threads like these
