I really dont encounter issues with my Gamestop. The people who work there generally know their ♥♥♥♥. I think the reason i didnt get hired there is because i foolishly admitted i know ♥♥♥♥ all about Xbox.
The only thing i wish they didnt do was phase out the previous generations so soon. I want to get my own PS2 and the price for a used one is really good. Sad thing is, they are phasing out the PS2 gen stuff. D:

The only bad story I have with gamestop is that i went there one day to exchange some games and i had like 4 games or somethin and they gave me like 16 dollars for it all i was so pissed
i hadnt even played one of them
The people at our local GameStop stores are pretty nice. The only problems I have with GameStop sometimes are that they put the price stickers directly on the game case (at least for used games they do). It doesn't bother me much when they put it on the back, though. Also, they leave big fingerprints and smudges on the disc sometimes and I hate that. If I take them a game to trade in, I always make sure it's clean. They could do the same.

Well back when the AC:3 steelbook was anounced I went to preorder the game cause I wanted that case. The guy told me that they were out of steelbooks, but they would get more. I go back later, still none, but I'm told come back later. I go to best buy which is a town over (I rarely get to go), they have A RACK FULL. I go to game stop one last time, a different guy says "oh we were never going to get more in." I was pissed to say the least. If I had known the truth I could have got one at best buy.

I love my gamestop. I'm friends with practically all the employees, and I pre order everything with them. I also love the buy 2 get one free pre owned game sales. So much money has been dropped from my bank account haha.
My rewards points sky rocket as a result, so I have loads of free reward pro member swag too.

I'm pretty much you in that regard. I'm friends with the employees there, and they're just about the only videogame store I go to. I hardly go to Target to buy the games from them. Why should I? Gamestop is literally right there!
The only thing I hate about my Gamestop is the guy who's working there is a better DJ and mash-up mixer than I am. (said guy is also a good friend of mines, so that's a positive, ha ha)
The only beef I got with Gamestop is that no matter what Gamestop I go to, the employees there just creep me out. Every time I go into there I feel like the employees are gonna shoot laser beams out of their eyes at me<(a slight exaggeration). For real; Gamestop employees creep me out.
I only have good experiences with Gamestop. Whenever I go there, there is usually this really nice guy that always helps us. Even when he's not there, I usually get what I want. The only problem for me is that they don't sell older computer games anymore. I wanted the expansion packs for this computer game that came out in 2008 called Spore, and the guy did a search and found that no Gamestop in the entire business had the discs for the game, so I had to buy them online through a direct download service.
