Today I did some research into prime numbers and such in my spare time today and showed my maths teacher. He seemed pleased and suggested some further reading to try and help me obtain a more elegant solution.
Bit of context: I've just finished my AS levels, starting some A2 maths stuff.
So I go and search some of the suggested topics. All of them are 2nd year undergrad maths topics.
So yeah, what sort of situations have you been in when you've realised that you're way out of your depth?
I'm not sure what AS and A2 translates to in American education. However, if you truly find enjoyment in math, continue learning it- just for the sake of learning it.
