Your Bucket List

What are some things you want to accomplish in your lifetime before you die? Some things I'd like to do include the following:

• Publish my novel, short stories, and poems - I'd like to publish a lot of poetry books, and hopefully a lot of novels.
• Travel - I've had this strange urge to travel recently. There are lots of things I'd love to see: The Pyramids, The Alps, a rain forest, the great wall, Sweden/Scandinavia, India, etc.
• Concerts - I'd like to see the likes of David Bowie, the surviving Doors members, RHCP again, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Queens of the Stone Age.
• Bang at least one girl from each nationality - self explanatory.
• Buy an ounce
• Sing - practice and acquire a respectable voice
• Walk on the moon (vote Gingrich!)

Most of the things I want to do are personal development type things rather than things I can just go out and do and cross off right away. I'll have to come up with a proper list later and post it here, it seems like a good opportunity to really think on my future.

Wow, there is a few things I like to do before I die. But I know none of it would be accomplished cause I'm just terrible at some ♥♥♥♥ lol

I wouldn't mind learning how to swim. (yeah, I can't swim back off)

I would love to make my own colouring book.

I would love to make my own Cartoon show.

And I want to live in Zarahs basement and bake crumbles for her

Travel is the one that's stuck with me for a while. I've lived in two cities my entire life, and they've both been fairly similar. I'm ready for some new scenery. The most invigorating experience of my life was seeing the Pacific shoreline in Washington last year - I want to go farther and see as much of the world as I can.

Learn instruments - I've had my guitar glaring at me in the corner of my room for the past couple years, it's high time I learned to actually use it. I'd honestly like to learn as many instruments as I can find/afford (the big ones being guitar, piano, violin, and the drum set). If I'm able to, I'd like to try my hand at composing music someday, if only for my own eyes to see and hear.

and i guess while i'm at it, I'd like to learn how to draw/paint/something. I very desperately lack a good hobby in my life. If music doesn't completely sate my thirst, I've always wanted to draw things. I guess more than anything, I want to live life without completely shutting out my artistic side.

Learn to program (a game) - This one's relatively new, but my brief stint with computer science really made me appreciate programming. While I'm unsure of programming something wholly original, I'd like to someday at least be able to program in MUGEN or develop an Ace Attorney fan case or two (and then I'll go on from there if I even get that far).

And I think for a more long-term/self-help goal I'd like to learn how to talk to people. I really hate how I've managed to completely fail to learn how to communicate. I plan on seeing a day where I can overcome my introversion and finally connect with others.

Do something involving space - Preferably going to space, but I would love to have my future career involve studying space in some way. Space is ♥♥♥♥ing awesome.

Well... For now my bucket list is:


• End up working or freelancing art for a movie or video game industry. And I'm talking about the main big powerhouses here, like Nintendo, Ubisoft, Marvel, Disney or Pixar etc.

• Travel around the world. Mainly in places like Canada and Alaska or the Asian countries. I want to travel to a lot of the poor villages and areas in Asia to help support and inspire people there with my art.

• Climb the Himalaya ranges (but not Mt. Everest) as part of some personal and spiritual journey.

• Publish my first illustrative book.

• Learning how to sail a yacht.

• And I dunno, probably getting married and having a kid or two.

My bucket list isn't too big, as I am usually that kind of gal who sets out to do all of these extraordinary things, but doesn't end up doing them, because I seemingly hate to do things that require a lot of effort. I've come to terms lately that I like to settle, which is contributing factor to my unhappiness, which is why I should get over that ♥♥♥♥ and and conquer the whole goddamn world and everything I wanna do in it.

But yes, back on topic.

I wanna finish culinary art school, build a hard working reputation for myself, and then live in a couple different countries doing some cooking ♥♥♥♥, which is pretty much my five year plan as of right now. I like to take things slow. Don't wanna overwhelm myself, yannow.

Besides that, I just really wanna get married and have a some kids.

• Travel
  I want to travel a lot. By that I mean I have a list of countries I must visit before dying and I want to see all of them, preferably more than once if they're to my liking. Aside from 60% of Europe, I wish to see Canada and the States, and preferably Australia and NZ too, as well as China. :]
  
• That career
  I want to become a diplomat and with that I also want to make a difference. I want to achieve something, for example improving international communications or better relations between certain countries - I'm an idealist and pacifist lady, but perhaps this'll help me one day. :'>
  
• Double citizenship
  I want to get one. xD I haven't decided where - it really depends on what country I would like to settle down in and that depends on my career and wherever the wind blows me; but yes.
  DUAL CITIZENSHIP FOR LIFE.
  
• Fammuleh
  Because as well as being an idealist and a pacifist, I'm also your community-orientated typical woman who wants a husband and kids.
  
• Be in a choir
  Singing is a really important part of my life and I absolutely can't live without it - if I show some sort of emotional balance, it's because I've just sung. Singing helps me get rid of negative feelings and nurture positive ones; and in my experience choirs are usually the most tight-knit communities ever and I absolutely love the feeling when I sing in a choir. <3
  
• Be classy
  Because that's just so classy.

Get married and have two children.

Work for the UN as a Human Rights Officer.

Saw the head off of the Ronald Reagan statue.


Getting my book finished, building a shipping container cabin on Marco Island, visiting the massive list of travel destinations I have lined up, and living to see the Destruction Of The Bourgeois, would round out the list.

Family:
I want to spend as much time as possible with my beloved through my entire life. I want to get married to her and father my own children. Hopefully two. Sonja and Tristan.

Living area:
I would prefer to build our own house in an eco-village on the western coast of Norway together with some friends of ours, but if not we'll take over the house of my beloved's grandmother at some point (perhaps tear it down and build a new one). We will make a permaculture garden/forest including a lot of vegetables, herbs, fruits, berries and animals. We will be as self-sufficient as possible and as eco-friendly as possible.

Lifestyle:
I want to obtain a lifestyle that I am 100% comfortable with. No pesticides, no poisonous contents in food or other products, no refined sugar, no cereals.. such things. I'd also like to spend as much time outside as possible. I would also like to keep working out at least how I do now, perhaps more, and get stronger and healthier. We're well on our way.

Skills:
I'd like to get better at wood- and leatherworking. I want to make things myself and get truly good at carving. I'd also like to learn how to play a primal drum like a bodhran. Perhaps bagpipes as well for the fun of it. I'd also like to know more about specific plants and animals in nature. I want to know more about which herbs I can use for what.

See the world:
I've seen a large percentage of Europe, but I want to get impressions from other parts of the world as well. the plan is going on an around-the-world trip next year, so that's within reach. We won't stop there, of course. Trans-Siberian/Mongolian railway, China, India, Thailand, Cambodia, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Costa Rica and a little part of the States :3

Norse related
I want to make an authentic Norse tent and preferably an authentic wooden frame for a field bed to have inside it (filled with sheepskins and wool blankets). With such a tent we'd be able to live on the actual festival areas of the markets we visit every summer.

^ I can never imagine myself living in the country, I would be dead board because I am not an animal or nature person what so ever.

I don't think i will retire unless i have no choice. I would get far too bored and would not be seen by society for years, only when i go out to put the bins out or something.

Never thought of my life goals as a list before. Hmm.

1. Get into a high position at some club in university.
2. Law school.

4. Visit the Himalayas, Israel, Turkey.
5. Become good at speaking Greek again so I don't sound like an idiot when I speak my first language.
6. Maybe become a prosecutor. But that idea makes me kind of afraid -- for you people.

In no specific order:

1) Learn guitar- I want to sing and play guitar for my future children, which brings me to....
2) Have children- I have to pass these fabulous genetics on; it's only the right thing to do
3) Get a meaningful, rewarding, well-paying job (engineering!)
4) Find a man who also has fabulous genetics to pass on
5) Party it up in college!
6) Play every Zelda game (excluding cdi)

I want to skip a stone on every ocean.

I'm kinda shocked that there are people that haven't punched holes through walls.

okay I wouldnt know exactly at this moment, but there are few things I know for sure I'd want to do

1) become a somewhat recognized singer
2) visit australlia, america and japan
3) learn an musical instrument really well, like guitar or piano
4) learn how to speak in at least 1 other language fluently
5) become a professionally paid photographer
