What is something mundane you want in your life?

A file cabinet. I need to get organized yo.

One of those. I like them. I want a car that i can get in and just go. My Jeep is awesome but its old and has a bit of wear on it. Not exactly ideal for long road trips and shizz.


Ive wanted a mellotron since i was about 13 years old. One day......

Bookshelves. I desperately need some, given my stacks of books, DVDs, games and CDs are all nearly as tall as myself now, I just don't have the room to put a set of shelves in my tiny room.

My own apartment would be nice, but not sure if that's really mundane, given most people my age share apartments with people, so I'm looking for slightly better than average.

Some huge bookshelves, and a flat screen TV, and a PS3, my own place in central Stockholm or central Örebro.
The reason is financial. I could get some of these things later, but at the moment I'm kinda stuck with what I've got. Which isn't bad at all. About the apartments, they are kinda out of reach for a student like me. I could find something if I'm really lucky, but yeah then I'd have to become close friends with Mother Luck and yadda yadda

I want a Fiero.



But lime green.

I would also really like a nice pocketwatch. I also want a waistcoat.

Something mundane ~ I want some damn comfortable shoes. Like. Ones you can wear while standing in place for 8 hours and not have aches the next day.

A series of hamster tubes...
With just the tubes, I could create a giant hamster playland. All I need is the tubes.

Also, a hamster ball. My hamster just wants to run around without me blocking her off every three seconds.

I want a large collection of jars that I can use in lieu of tupperware, and dishes.

A larger desk and a decent computer. This computer was ancient when it was released and it's still ancient. Still, it's difficult to game, write essays, and more at the same time with this five year old thing. (It doesn't suck but programs/games require more power that I don't have.) As for the desk, I have limited space.

Is a decent, cheap college education a mundane something? I mean, I value my limbs and I am not dispatching them just to learn something that sort of requires them. And I don't want to be crippled by debt for my entire life.

Art

1) A nice big easel for painting
2) A collection of big antique-looking frames
3) My own studio complete with all the materials and equipment I need

I've been trying to buy an easel on trademe but I'm always outbid on the very last minute.

Car

1) Some window wipers for the back window of my car
2) A matching door maybe
3) Cup-holders for all the seats

I don't have any money for this stuff, esp. that damn door.

House

1) a squeegee to clean the windows
2) Perhaps a toaster. We have been living in this house for over 27 years and we have never owned one. We make all our toast in the oven. Which never struck me as unusual, until my niece visited one day and asked *whiny voice* "why don't you have a toaster? my toast is too black!"
3) Tacky art history bead curtains for all the doorways in my house

Oh god! Try not having ANY cup holders in your car! ITS THE WOOOORRRSSST!
