why do people buy bottled, purified water instead of organizing to combat corporate contamination of public water supplies? Why do people shop their way to safety, protecting themselves through individual capitalism rather than collective action?

Why would corporations contaminate the public water supply? That seems like a ridiculous conspiracy theory.

If you're talking about the ex-ZU mod, Gerudo, I can answer this one.

Many years ago, I used to have direct database access, around the time of the infamous "ZI takeover" April Fools Day prank. After the dust had settled from April Fools Day, several of us from VGRC were particularly drunk one night and decided we just really didn't like Gerudo, so an excursion was mounted into the realms of MySQL, where we wiped out every one of Gerudo's posts, messages, and his entire account. As if he never existed, really!

Coincidentally, he happened to be on vacation, so nobody even noticed until he came back from his vacation two weeks later, after all trace of his account has already cycled out of ZU's automated backups. Needless to say, restoring his account became impossible, and everybody chalked it up to "some random glitch."

This is celebrated every April 18th as "Party Hard Day," which we first celebrated by embedding Party Hard by Andrew WK all over ZU through a leftover [music] BBcode from AFD that Jason had forgotten to remove at the time.

He soon quit, and nobody has really heard from him since. We presume he is doing what he was doing when he was here, which is being extremely hateful towards Muslims and creeping on prepubescent girls.

Lakes are an important source of naturally occurring drinking water, and are a hugely contested site of contamination. If somebody doesn't understand that a large amount of the worlds' drinking water is contaminated, perhaps it might help to read up a bit about some of our water sources?

I know about such, but Greenland never held a population comparable to Scandinavia for good reason.

You tried to claim that Greenland was chosen as something other than a ploy to get people to move there. The only other reason for the name accepted by anyone credible is that it is a mistranslation of "Groundland". Even that is an unpopular belief and most historians accept what I stated in the first place.
