I love the winter, nothing like a classic Quebec winter. I'm pretty pissed that global warming took this winter away from me. There was no winter this year in Montreal.

My least favorite is excessively hot days in summer.

I like cold weather. When it snows, I'm just so goooood.

But I don't want cold weather forever. That's why it's nice to have a warm summer and whatever.

I just can't agree with hating summer.

I personally am really confused with the weather. One day it's insanely cold, but the sun shines. The next day it's way too humid and its raining. The day after that, it is freezing and raining in the morning, and it gets to 80 and clear skys by noon, and it's dry out.

@GWN: You live in Canada. For those of us down South, snow is a rare occurrence and does not stick around all winter. In fact, this winter all we had where I lived was two inches total for the entire winter, and that snow melted immediately.

What you're having up in Canada right now is likely much colder than my winter was.

HA! I don't know where you live in the "south" Envy, but you live more north then me. I got bout half an inch of snow the whole "winter"

I prefer overcast, cold, snowy climates than the sunshine and heat. I get most of my inspirations from the colder weather.

The heat just depresses me. I can't stand the view of looking outside into bright light and seeing heat waves everywhere.


Unfortunately it's what I have to deal with everyday since I live extremely close to the equator.

It's interesting to me that so often, no matter where I go, people in cold places like warm, and people in warm places like cold.

True enough for me, as I'd prefer the heat of a Texas summer over the cold of a Michigan winter any year.

When I meant 'down South' I meant in comparison to Canada. Although Oklahoma, where I live, is pretty far South. We get the horrible humidity of the Southeast, the heat of the Southwest, and the tornadoes of the great plains.

I can't, for the life of me, even begin to understand how anybody thought that Oklahoma would be a good place to live.

Actually, a lot of people where I live actually like this god awful weather. The newscasters for some reason think that a week full of mid 80s in April is 'nice'. It's rare you run into somebody around here that likes it cold. Mostly because most that do get out of here real fast, I suppose. lol

I'm very happy in our mid-50s to mid-40s weather. Especially on the occasional snow, and I am even happier when it rains.(don't ask why because I don't know."

Not so! I live in a mild climate and I don't plan on leaving it :D

Bleh, I hate winter. I would like to move to Florida or someplace warm like that.

24 degrees celcius, enough water in the air to be not have that horrible dry wind, yet not so much for it to be stuffy, a few clouds in the sky enough so that during parts of the day the sun is partially blocked. That is my favourite, this Autmn has been very good so far.

Least Favourite: when its35 degrees celcius or higher, there are no clouds and the air is dry and windy or very stuffy.

Can anyone explains what being in snow is like, please?

I like cool but not cold weather. I love rain as it brings petrichor and thunder. I love thunder. And petrichor.

I particularly enjoyed but not really enjoyed this Winter. Winters here are icy-snowy-sleet-and sometimes hitting outrageous temperatures. (Maybe two years ago, we had a -30F windchill on top of a foot of snow/ice.) This year, we had nearly 90 in Winter which was when billions of record temperatures were surpassed. Not fun when the AC is on during Winter when it's usually 0F outside. Hah.

As for spring. It's cool. Winter was hot and Spring is 20-30 degrees cooler. The hell happened to the weather? Next, it'll be snowing mid-Summer. Also, it's been cloudy lately. It's cloudy 50% of the time here so it's not surprising.
