What are things that scared you when you were little, yet you laugh at now?

I was scared of the hash-slinging slasher on sponge bob.


Funny thing is... I am still scared of it!

Resident Evil.

I usually laugh at them as a fearless woman now, but they used to make me close my eyes and shiver as a kid.

The movie It used to terrify me. Then my friends and I watched it recently and we were howling with laughter the whole time.

It's zombie King Jingaling from Banjo-Tooie, if anyone is curious.

I used to be scared to death of him! I played the game when I was about 5 or 6. I remember walking upstairs one night and I thought he was there waiting for me at the top so I started crying. Yeah he gave me nightmares. xD

They scared the ♥♥♥♥ outta me when i was a kid!

When Darth Vadar cut off Luke Skywalker's hand. Honestly, the first thing I thought as a child was oh no, how will he play videogames now. Also, the idea of "giving into the Darkside" in Star Wars terrified me because I was of the mind that you got locked away in some dark closet somewhere, never to be let out.

Those two episodes of Rugrats with this kid getting eatin' by the monster under the bed, and the other kid getting flushed down the drain. Those are the only things I no longer fear. Everything else I still do, because I cannot handle anything creepy or gory.

Surprisingly, those never really scared me all too much.

I used to be scared of the toilet as a little kid (only cuz I got stuck in it once ) but now it's like, I can destroy you you damn mother♥♥♥♥er.

I would say Luigi's mansion.........but I'm still afraid of that game........Sully from monsters inc. Used to scare me. So did dead bodies.......now im all good

Seriously, this mother♥♥♥♥er TERRIFIED me as a child. Up until I was like... 7, I couldn't even watch his scenes. I'd either hide behind the couch or fast forward through that part. After 7, I could watch it but I was still really scared.

I still reserve the right to say his death scene is ♥♥♥♥ing disturbing.

That scene in the animated version of "The Hobbit" where the goblins drag Bilbo and co. into the cave. Scared the ever loving hell out of me. I think it's one reason why I'm so terrified of the dark, even now.

At the Boardwalk there was a haunted house ride that terrified me the first time. Iwent on it again with my older siblings from out Eastand it became a joke after that.
