What are things that scared you when you were little, yet you laugh at now?

Courage the cowardly dog in general, if that's what youre talking about that is, scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me.

There are only a few things that scared me when I was young. First off is the Shadow Temple (from OOT)'s music. Scared me silly enough that I immediately shut the game down and refused to play for a couple years.

Second, oddly enough, was a pair of rag dolls my aunt kept in her room. When she moved out, I ended up having to stay in there a couple times and I kept thinking they were watching me sleep, ready for me to shut my eyes so they could do "something" to me. I was never quite sure what though.

It took me several years to stop feeling uneasy around those two rag dolls, even after I got over my fear of them.

Omg.


One just went past my house right now, but does anyone know those street cleaner truck things that have those brushes on each side that sweeps the edges of the road on both lanes?

I was ♥♥♥♥ing terrified of those when I was little. They're kind of loud when they're coming up the street, like here it comes kind of noise.

... I'm kinda still edgy around them now, even as an adult.




BECAUSE ONE TIME (let me tell you a short story). I was playing near some drains when I was... 5 or 6 years old? And I got my foot stuck in one of them. And one of those trucks came around the corner and was driving up to where I was, and I was just screaming and crying my soul out so loud that my dad and aunt and cousin and just about the whole family came running outside to see what the ♥♥♥♥ was going on. The guy that was driving the truck obviously saw me, but he was just driving up slowly to stop a safe distance away, but I thought he wasn't going to stop and to have those brushes and wheels tear me to shreds. xD

I think it's safe to say that I do kind of laugh when I see them now. But they still scare me to an extent. :p

I almost ♥♥♥♥ myself when I saw these things.



But then I realized that they sound like elephants...



I am still too afraid to do the bottom of the well on master quest ever again though.

ReDead's. Nough said. And I'm sure a good portion of this site can agree. Specifically those from the N64 era, but they've never been a pleasant thing to fight.

That little ♥♥♥♥ right there. He's from the old movie Cat's Eye and he used to kinda freak me out as a kid. I saw that movie recently and i was all "i cant believe he used to freak me out. Hes so hilarious and a little cornball!"

I posted "You're not perfect" in the freaking "what scares you" thread, because that shiz STILL terrifies me.

Anyways! Umm... actually, the song for the great palace in AoL terrified me as a kid. wtf, right? And the concept of "midnight." Like.. if someone said it was midnight, I freaked the crap out. xD


And this thing. Man, this thing was TERRIFYING when I was, like, 3. Why, Nickelodeon? WHY?!

I found the elephant voodoo defeats even more terrifying.
