I don't think that would be that hard to fix, I mean, creating a stickied Men's and Ladies' Advice Thread (instead of the general advice / relationship advice combo?) within the help section. (Even if people tended to read both of them.)

I really don't have any problems with the GCC

Only when people post a ♥♥♥♥ load of youtube videos, at least try and use the espoiler, I don't want a huge freaking page

Other than that, no problems

Please bring back Radek as the main GCC mod.

Uh, actually what Michael says is true; if you wanna take the GCC you'd have to change your position from Super Moderator to Forum Moderator. Being an S Mod means, yes, you get power over ALL sections, but at the same time you don't have first say in any board because that goes to the designated mod/s of the area. The power and drawback of being an S Mod.

That aside, Red is doing a brilliant job as is as the new guy, though if you did step down to Forum Mod, it's not that you'd be the lead mod of the GCC, it's that you'd be working alongside him. No forum team has a lead mod, each mod's say is as valid as their team. I actually wouldn't mind an experienced mod here because the other GCC mods have been hella busy.

If you're serious about this, please let me know and we'll talk it out with Red/Zach/Eve/Jodd.

Droppin' in to tell that I dig the new changes in the Help section - but especially the fact that the GCC mod team ('specially Red :3) is working actively and such - and they take this feedback thread into consideration.

It's great. Thank you and I think I speak for all GCCers here!

idk about you, but I am beginning to hate the GCC section, it's like it's almost biased towards certain people, where the favouravle ZUers have more say 'coz y'know -- people LIKE them saying/posting so their double or triple posts (in which, one post with the other post separated by at least thirty minutes so the double post happens 'coz no one replied after them so they bumped again the threads but yet that didn't get the second post deleted and merged with the first post 'coz they're more favoured) but some less favourable ZUers have theirs deleted and merged, although it's the samn dame thing where the double post happens because the time span of after half an hour (example: mine was separated by more than an hour! but the posts got merged).

Biased, man. Imma raging in silence. And I am sorry for being too straightforward about this.

So, what you're saying is that double posts that are made by 'popular' members are not deleted? I can absolutely assure you that that is not the case. I delete double posts whenever I see them in the GCC.

And I haven't seen any thread bumping either.

I'm not exactly sure what you're saying though. I really want to understand what it is you're talking about, so could you please show us some examples?

If there's trouble in this section I have every confidence that it will be fixed. And I can tell you right now I deal with every double post I see in the exact same way.

I have not seen anything like that and I actively post/mod this section, though if what !? says is true then I will have to address this at an admin level too.

That type of feedback where you claim mods are being unfair, !?, I cannot take lightly because it is a very serious and wrong thing for a mod to do and management of mod behaviour falls under my responsibility as admin. Like others have asked, if you could provide examples we would be grateful because we cannot make an active change, the one you'd like to see, if we cannot speak to the mods who may be responsible.

Regardless, we'll keep an eye out, sure.

As said in my previous post: examples of this happening been buried pages and pages in some GCC threads, I am sorry time much to find them back, I should have printed screen that.

^If you could even name a thread or two, I'll go look into those anyway regardless of page count.

How about this: At any point we see double posts in the future, simply report them or take them, via the permalink, directly to a mod. Or an admin. Which would be Liah here. Because, needing to say this, complaining won't make the accidental double posts go away.

Oh sweet jesus please do not report every double post you see. You guys will break Navi in a day


Thing is, we do try to delete every double post we see. But due to the fast nature in GCC it's very possible to miss a double post or two
