Nice topic, Zecora ^__^
Yes, I do miss the 90's. I mean, I enjoy this age of technology that we live in currently, but I miss simpler days and times.
-I miss the days of 'Snick' on Nickelodeon, on Saturdays, and the green slime that represented Nickelodeon.
-I remember having a crappy dial up connection as a kid, and we had
AOL 3.0. I'd stay on there for an hour or two a day just IMing family members, and such. Huh...strange. I still have a dial up connection, but not with
AOL, lol
-I recall watching countless episodes of Doug, Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, and Ren & Stimpy. I also remember being afraid of the Snick show "Are You Afraid of the Dark?", around the age of 5 or so. lol.
-I owned countless Pokemon cards to the point that it made my mother crazy at times, just trying to keep up with the trend, and the merchandise! lol.
-I had a furby, too. He was colored like a giraffe. I played with him for a year or two, and grew bored of him.
-Did anyone have slap-bracelets, or was that the wrong era? I had quite a few of those. I think me and my older cousin would trade those.
-I remember right around '98 or '99, I was really into Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, and N*sync. ...Yeah, I was one of those girls.
-EDIT: I recall owning a pair of pink jelly shoes, and crying when they didn't fit me anymore. I was really sad to see those go. I also owned some of those wacky troll dolls with the bright colored hair [not sure what their purpose was], and some of them had a jewel in their belly button. I also had a few cupcake dolls, and crystal princesses [I think that's what they were called]
