I find myself agreeing with Vynrah.
It's perfectly fine that you can't stand Southern accents. I don't like
palóc (Northern Hungarian, hehe) accent either, though it's not that major that it'd turn me off.
But I think you should be a little more opened, you know. What if one day you meet a lady (with all those curves you hold so dear

) who is perfect, absolutely perfect in every way, her only vice is that she has a Southern accent. What would you do then? Say goodbye and continue seeking? I don't think it'd be a smart move. I believe a person can make you like a feature that you otherwise find unusual, odd or disturbing. Because it's the person globally that you are attracted to. :>
