Body Type

See, I never got why this is universally considered more attractive than this.

I have reason to believe that there IS no innate "standard" for what body types are considered attractive; ♥♥♥♥, I'm assuming there are plenty of guys and girls alike who are attracted to larger/non-thin people, but are too afraid to admit it because it has been deemed by the elite and powerful that fat = ugly.

This ♥♥♥♥ needs to stop, like, right now. Don't be afraid of admitting that your idea of beauty differs from what is popularly considered "beautiful."

With that said, what body types do you find attractive?

Oh yeah, and I made a social group for chubby chasers and stuff (But this feature is pretty much dead anyway so lol).

Only looks beautiful because she has obvious curves.

I for one find larger women, or women who have curves, to be attractive.

Society has always labelled as thin skinny women to be more attractive, but honestly, that's just ridiculous. Like looking at the photo of Kiera Knightly that you posted Andross, like she is beautiful, but really skinny. Now imagine her with a curvacious figure. Now you're talking.

This whole ''society believes thin people to be more beautiful'' stopped being true in the early 2000's. Today, yes large people are discriminated against for how they look, but so are thin people for being ''anorexic''. Personally as long as the person lives a healthy lifestyle weight has no bearing on attractiveness.

This chick isnt that pretty and she is skinny. But i get your point.

Most people that I know of perfet having the "perfect" woman includes them being a twig. Personally, I find that kind of body to be disgusting (even though I used to look like that before I actually ate and worked out to the body that I wanted which I am happy with) Lots of females that I know who are "not the perfect body type" try so hard to lose all of that weight and try to fit in by purging themselves to get like that. It makes me feel sad because half of them are my friends.

I always thought that "heavier set" women to be more attractive than those twigs anyways. It gives them more character and they have something to show and give. But then again, society doesn't allow that security to happen. I find it to be really sad.

I think I prefer girls that are a little on a bigger side. Not as big as the ones in the OP, but also not some chick who's 80 pounds. This one girl who I really liked back in high school was on the heavier side and she's so damn cute.

If anything, when it comes to looks, I think I pay a lot more attention to the face, and heavier people can have beautiful faces (for example, most of the heavier girls in Andross' post I thought had pretty faces).

Really some sweet eyes and lips is all it takes.

Yeah.
I think that women in between are most beautiful.
I think that In between shows beauty and power.

I've never met any who thinks that first picture is attractive.
Honestly, why are we making both body types feel bad? I'm naturally skinny, I kinda find it rude that people say that skinny people aren't attractive. Not to say that skin and bones is but still. Stop putting down both body types.
I would also like to add, just because someone doesn't find a certain type of people attractive, doesn't make them bad people.

Its not that they are not attractive, its how they preseent themselves. They can be cute and goregeous, its just having bones sticking out from your body isn't attractive. One can have a pretty face and they can still look like that, its just kinda creepy, netherless it can be unattractive to the person.

Having some type of curve gives character to the person, I don't care how you present yourself, its just I prefer girls having curves and not being a twig walking around.

Here's the thing, you're generalizing them.
I could say large people have bad attitudes and it's a whole big thing, but if you say skinny people have bad attitudes, you're justified.
My point is, it's wrong to degrade both body types.

I am skinny and I HATE how I look.

I'm not a girl, but I have plenty of "bones sticking out of my body". My ribs, arms, legs, everything is really damn skinny.

And if a girl's the same way, then whatever.

I've seen just as many ♥♥♥♥♥y full figured girls as I've seen trashy skinny people. Its all relative.

I just find it ironic how many of those who say not to discriminate against someone because they're overweight, discriminate against skinny people themselves because they're skinny.

I personally discriminated myself. I am cool with skinny people, and any other shape and size, but i think I am ugly,

When I was younger I thought the typical "curvy uptop, skinny everywhere else" was the best thing in the world. But now that I'm a little older, I don't find the same things attractive anymore. Infact, I think I'm less attractive to really thin girls then I was before.

I like it right in the middle. Not too much, not too little.

Guys, let's not turn this into a "let's bash skinny people becuz they r ugly!!11!" thread.

Saying that one body type if more beautiful than another is hypocritical. It all comes down to preference. Saying that "thin girls aren't real women" is absolutely ridiculous and equally damaging to thin women. Why is it fine and dandy to say thin is unattractive, but if you DARE utter a word against "curvy" women, you're treated like the next antichrist?

Discrimination on BOTH sides needs to stop.

I agree that there is no universal standard for attraction and to each his own, but personally I'm repulsed by fat chicks. I don't mind a little extra baggage on a girl but when a chick has a flabby gut or a beautiful face clouded by fat I'm immediately turned off. Fat is unhealthy, which usually means a fat chick has an unhealthy lifestyle. Now that may not mean anything for someone who shares her same unhealthy habits but for an athletic guy like me I find it disgusting in a woman. However, it's equally unhealthy for her to be morbidly thin all the same, and I'm not attracted by anyone who has a waist as thin as a telephone pole and her ribcage sticking out.

What I am attracted to is fit girls. Girls who take pride in taking care of their body. Not only is it healthier for her, but it also looks the best. To me there's nothing more sexy than a girl with nice, toned legs and a tight behind. Why anyone can prefer the body of a woman shrouded in a thick coat of flab I have no idea.
