Does anyone else think this is just an excuse to drink? I mean, I honestly haven't cared about the teams in it for ages. It's just a day to drink for me honestly. lol.

I'm not a sports-watcher; but that doesn't stop me from having an opinion. I think that the Superbowl is a social event. And, as such, there's often drinking along with it. Honestly, I don't think that people use it as an excuse to drink. (Unless they use social events as an excuse to drink.)

I'm not necessarily interested in football, or sports in general, but I still get excited about the superbowl and the general atmosphere it creates. I even pay attention to the game sometimes!

And yeah, I use it as an opportunity for the alcohol and the delicious food.

Actually, being that my family has always been fans of the Giants, I probably will be genuinely more interested in the game than usual this year.

Nah, for me and the people around me, it's not just an excuse to drink. Sure, you might not be as into the teams in it if YOU'RE team isn't in it, but I don't think that's how it is completely.

That being said, I hope the Patriots send the Giants home crying, especially old man Coughlin. I just don't like that guy. And I wish we could've gotten Niners/Patriots, but maybe Niners get their chance next year.

Its all about the food: nachos, pizza, dorritos, and little sausages wraped in bacon.

The commercials are the only good part, unless you're a potato chip manufacturer.

I was going for the 49ers, I guess I'll watch it for the commercials and I really have nothing to do on Sunday, so, yeah.

I don't get why people watch "just for the commercials." No offense to anybody here who does that. It's just, they're not THAT amazing.

I'll pack a super bowl this sunday hheeheeehe.
