Usernames

One of my favorite anime characters is Deidara, so I took the first three letters and added a ~

Call me, originality master.

I am pooptart.

If I remember correctly I was originally Ice_Dragon, because that used to be the name I used everywhere. I got bored of that, so I had it changed to Frozen. I because Frozen "Bargearse" Benjamint for a little while which was a joke between me and some mates on IRC. After that I changed it again to uǝzoɹɟ, and then to Ben, which is my real name.

From then on we have a lot of temp. joke names: I was Lance for a while around the release of the Pokémon G/S remakes, User 27613 for some reason I don't remember, Bieber because apparently I look like him (♥♥♥♥ OFF I DON'T ;__;), and then Sue White to show my love of Green Wing with Mike (who became Guy Secretain I believe).

What's with all the tildes (~) and X's in people's usernames all over the internet? Yours is an example of the former, and I've seen stuff like xXxUsernamexXx elsewhere. I don't get it.

The Xs are for Strightedge people. Who spend all their time not on drugs or looking for affection from the opposite sex.

It's a bros before O's and Hos thing more then a call of chasity though.

This was my name for when I first joined ZU. At the time, it was the only thing I had ever joined. I was a silly little boy back then.

Because I hated TwilightHero31, I changed my name to LegendOfHyrule31 but at the time loved the number 31 so I kept that part. That's when I started getting more into the internet. I used that for mostly everything, which I still do for some sites.

• Pretendo

Ah, after the reign of LegendOfHyrule31, I set out on a quest to find a specific (and original) name that everyone could know me by. That is when I discovered the name Pretendo on the ZU font page, but no one ever makes the connection. XD

Some other names I've used on other sites were "Skyward" and "HylianPancake", as well as "HylianPie" and "SageOfDawn51" (later shortened to Sage).

And ever since I read the Four Swords manga, I've been really into Purple Link. Since the name was taken, I didn't change it. A while ago I came up with the name vio.link7 and I like that, but I wouldn't use it for a forum. Probably like Twitter or Youtube or something. However, I'm thinking of changing my name to Vio.

SO NO ONE TAKE THAT NAME KAY

EDIT: Oh, I also used the name Ghirahim for a while.

I lol'd at usernames with numbers

Well, I came in as Igos Du Ikana, because I love Ikana palace and MM in general, and I have two friends exactly like Igos's body guards ( A chubby, bulldogish guy who is pretty dense, and a skinny taller guy who tries to be a wise guy on everything), but then Rainbow Dash (the cartoon, not username) had to go and discover how much fin reading is, and so I became Daring Do because my interests are similar to hers, IE exploring, collecting, pulling off epicness like it's nothing.....

I started as JonahX due to Jonah being taken, then I switched to Jonah as the previous Jonah had been inactive for nearly 6 years, then I added Grand Inquisitor as a joke and went back to Jonah after a few days.

After that, I was The Doctor for a few days due to my obsession with Doctor Who, went back to Jonah, and have stayed that since.

"JonahX" makes me think of the odd comic book and horrible recent film of a very similar name.

ManofRedHelms was just a username that I thought was cool. (Original, but based off of King of Red Lions from Zelda, so I guess it's somewhat of a tribute.) Beforehand I had names such as Rose De Nose or The Iron Giant, which were usernames that I chose on a whim. (Rose De Nose from Ender's Game, that is. I didn't like the character, but the name is so fun to say).

I am considering changing it to "JayTee" or someting like that, as those are my initials.

I nearly forgot about that one. That was way back in the stone ages of my time on ZU.

Actually the reason why I changed my username from Link on! to another name(s); because I when I came back to ZU after my long absence, I found out a ZUer whom I requested friendship during the times I was inactive already passed away, where his username starts with L and ends with ! so it shattered me because I hadn't got the chance to even talk to him at all.... and other things that happened during the past few months made me feel that the username change would help me move on.

Finally settling with this username for reasons that I had already posted recently in this thread.

So, when anyone calls me Link on!, I can't help but feel sad about it, though I didn't say it rightaway 'coz (in my heart) I hoped it would be dropped and people referring to me as my current username.

Twilit_Hylian because I was an uber fan.
I like original names though.
They're sexy and creates a persona that people imagine you by. That and your avatar.
For example, I view Neshi as a cat on a computer.
