To serve my country

On May 1st 2012 i will be shipping out to basic training for the U.S.Navy, I'm going in as a Hospital Corpsman (Medic), my account will be dormant for about 6-9 weeks during that time but after basic i will have internet access again and i will return. i don't mean for this to be some kind of government advertizement cause it isn't, I'm simply asking so i can get referrals so i can get ranked up Right away instead of being at the bottom of the barrel as an E-1 or E-2. so if you are interested in joining the navy i would be more than happy to refer you to my recruiting station that will then contact one nearer to you(more referrals mean higher ranking max entry is E-3), thank you for your time, and haters feel free to hate cause while I'm going to be doing something constructive and Healing the wounded and ill, you will just be an ignorant snot. Remember it was the Navy Seals that took out Osama Bin Laden.

hey thank you, it means alot to me, i lost my grandpa this year and instead of being a dead beat I'm following in his footsteps, i just hope to become at least half the man he was, i know that's a cliche but i mean it.

If you aren't shipping to Basic until May you should have time to complete the little checklist with your Recruiter to bump you up to E-2.

For a group of people who are out to sea for almost indefinite periods of time without female company, I'm inclined to say: "whatever gets you through it, bro."

How would it contort the English language precisely? Is there a grammatical rule whereby you can't anthropomorphize ships?

haha yeah 2 referrals is E-2 and 5+ is E-3, i got a 71 on the asvab so i couldn't go nuclear for an automatic E-3 =p not that i would want that position, i like corpsman.

i think the age cut off is 25 and as long as you have a good police record and a clean sack of urine i believe you could still join if you wanted, find out where your nearest recruiting station is and go talk to them about it, if your still interested that is, and if you do decide to join up I'd love to be a referral, and id give you my info for all that later on, but its your choice.

actually there are quite a few girls in the navy and they do allow relationships between sailors as long as it doesn't affect your work, so on weekends and down time you can chill with the girls, and the ship will always be a "she" to me.

to the one hater, go to hell and learn something about the U.S. government, of course they have downfalls but they are doings an alright job if you actually look into it, I'm so sick of everyone using the government as a goddamn scapegoat.
