Do you look/act like your age?

Feeling like such an old fart right now.

I neither look, nor act my age. Mostly due to my height, I think - because of my short stature, I can usually get away with rowdy behaviour. Also have quite a round face.

I think I look eighteen. I get told every so often that they expected me to be older.

I'm 23 but I guess I can be mistaken for 33 at the oldest @_@. When I was first 21 someone at a store thought I was 30, and was surprised by my drivers license lol

I've been told I look younger, and then I've also been told I look older. So, no, I guess I don't look my age.
Do I act my age? Most of the time, I hope.

I def. don't look my age. I think I pass for a 16 or 17 year old. Partly because of my age, height, and my acne [doesn't help]. I get dirty looks when I'm in stores with my kid. Like, I'm a teen mom or something

I act my age, accordingly, I think.

I always get carded when buying cigarettes, lol. DAMN IT!

I'm 21, but I look 16/17 to most people who first meet me. They think my son is my little brother. I have been growing out my bangs so I guess I'm finally having a more "mature" look now. Maturity wise? I guess about 18. I have a long way to go before I feel like I'm in my 20's.

I don't know though, I guess I look my age (15), I've never been told otherwise. As for acting my age, in someways I do, and in someways I act older/younger than I do. I have the responsibility of a 11 year-old, but I'm certainly more politically informed than most 15 year olds (that I know).

I'm 21, but I'm often told I look about fourteen.

As for how I act... pretty much like I'm still in my teens.

I also remember mistaking one of my cousins for being 10 years old when he was actually 12 1/2 years old. It was actually pretty funny because he was actually pretty tiny.

people usually have a real hard time beleiving I'm 28, i don't have the most mature and adult look, I guess.

I've been told that I look 19-20 but I'm only 16.

I think I act my age. Sometimes I probably act a little more mature, but that's only sometimes.

I look about 2-3 years older because of my beard.

If I remember right you look like you're older than me. Which I think you aren't. But hooray.

22 years old, people say I look older, until I shave, then I look like I belong in school

I've been told that I look 14 on numerous occasions, even though I'm almost 21 years old.

I have no idea why, probably because of my Asian genes giving me a much younger appearance than normal, and I still have baby fat on my face which gives me a very young look/kiddish look when I smile.

It's funny when they say "So how is middle school going? Excited for High School?" and I answer back with "Oh no, I just finished university."




As for acting like my age, I still behave like a 6 year old at times, running around in the rain, rolling around on the floor when I'm feeling hype etc.

I am 25 but I get asked what Im doing at University...ah well.

I think its the fact I still wear my hair stupidly long and still dress like the hippy writing student I once was.

I also teach young kids so sometimes I have to go a bit bonkers and join them. Even when Im not teaching it still happens, I was doing trapdoor spider impressions in bed last week...

Normally, when I start to talk to people I haven't known before, they always, always think I'm older than my age. The oldest age was... 25, I think. They ask, "so which university are you in?" and I admit with one of my quiet chuckles that I'm still in high school.

Yet, when I'm with good friends or online, I sometimes tend to act in a more careless, childish way, and I tend to put my serious&smart-self aside. Usually I'm believed to be 16-ish on the internet.

So it really depends. Guess I'm a mixture.

I'm 23 at the moment. I've never heard that I appear younger that I've been through the years. I have heard that people thought I was older, especially on the internet. It has happened on a few occasions during my regular life as well. It's probably because of the beard and the fact that I'm a calm person.

I have been told that I look my age. 21, no younger nor older really. I dress age appropriate.


As for how I act, well it depends on who I am around. At work/school I get consistently told that I act far older than I appear. I am usually very polite, well presented and I articulate every word I speak.

See I really am not introverted or extroverted, I sort of sit right in the middle of the scale. So I am rather quiet, but have no qualms socialising. I find that extroverted people usually get told they are immature and introverts mature so I kinda find the whole question of "do you act your age" to be pretty dumb. It all depends on who I am around really.


Unless I have alcohol or drugs in my system. In which case I am 12. And horny.

I try to act serious on the forums but in real life sometimes I can act like a five year old that's just eaten a whole bag of skittles.
