What Pleases You?

We have had that 'What annoys you thread' and I thought, why so negative?
So I decided to make this thread, which is basically the opposite.

What pleases me:

- When you drop something and catch it quickly with one hand before it hits the ground and think....I'm a ninja!

- When things happen to work in your favour, for example if you take a different way to get somewhere just for the fun of it and walk into a shop for five minutes and come out and money is blowing in the wind and you get it...you just think "damn if I didn't go in this way and stay in that shop for five minutes that $50 bill would have flown right past"

- When someone can't open a jar or reach something in a high cupboard and you do it easily.

- When you are good at something and someone says "Man how do you do that?" and you just say
" I dunno it's easy" even though you know damn well that it's hard...just makes you feel good cause you are doing something that people want to do but can't.

- when you have a good dinner, cause no matter how bad your day was the moment when you say "Mum, what's for dinner?" and she says something good it just so good like.....well I'm sure you all know the feeling!

- That feeling of sheer relaxation when you have no school, no work, no assignments just absolutely nothing to worry about, you don't have to think of the future just enjoy what your doing at the moment.

- When you have money to piss away.

- When you win a game of Mario Party..... not any other game just Mario Party (with 2 or more friends not all computers) cause despite all the bull♥♥♥♥ luck that happens, all the minigames that are shear luck that you lose, all the hidden blocks that people get, all the Computers being useless when you are on their team in a mini game....YOU WON!

The gloating and sense of satisfaction is unmatchable.

- Making people laugh with a witty comeback or remark.

- Getting a lot of likes on a post on ZU cause it just means that people either found that really funny or they agree.

- When people send you VM's saying "Oh you seem awesome, how's it going?" or "Hey your funny, what's up?" or "I love your avy" just stuff like that.

- Having a reference or comeback on ZU and finding the EXACT youtube clip you need, not the whole scene, just that exact bit and it fits in perfectly to what you are saying.

- Having friends that you can be dickheads with, like pulling prnaks and just general dickery not formal bull♥♥♥♥, like you can insult them and they won't have a cry like they can take a joke and they don't sook and they get things and understand your jokes and such.

- When people on ZU like the same things you do that aren't well known that you can talk about for example how Xosgni likes Dragonball and doesn't just think "Oh it's old I don't like that ♥♥♥♥, I just like all the weird weeaboo anime crap they have now and think Dragonball is gay cause it's old" and how Ahluk likes the same movies I do and it's awesome cause the ones I'm talking about aren't even in English so it's amazing that we both know about them and we can talk about them.

(1) When I'm sitting on my bed early in the morning typing on my laptop. What am I typing? Fun stuff. 83

(2) When I'm posting on topics I like.

(3) Hanging out with my dogs.

(4) Warm cup of coffee in the morning.

When one of your favorite songs by your favorite band of all time comes on the radio, then immediately transitions into your favorite song by your second favorite band.

That ♥♥♥♥ is magical.

I had an epic moment in Shogun 2 Total war recently, which pleased be a great deal. I was playing co-op with a friend, and I attacked an enemy army that was slightly larger than mine, was on a hill, and had matchlock units. My friend kept telling me how big a mistake I was making by attacking, and how I was going to lose, how impossible it was for me to win etc.


It felt so good when I utterly wiped out that enemy army.

Extremely many things.. but I will come up with a few.

- When people makes positive threads

- VM's and such. It always makes me happy

- Tolkien geeks and most Tolkien related things

- Men and women with long hair

- When the weather turns out to be perfect the day you have made plans going out

- Birds singing in the morning

- Seeing wildlife like deer, foxes and so on

- Making people smile

- Seeing an oak tree

- Norse sheep

- Viking helmets without horns

- Clothing inspired by medieval time, viking age and fantasy

- Clear autumn days

- The first feel of warmth from the sun after a long winter

- Seeing people helping each other

- Snow during midwinter

- A good Scottish malt

- Proper mead with no added sugar

- Fabrics and food without added poison in some form

- Permaculture

This is what I had time to come up with at the present.

-- Guinness and other beer/ale from Europe.

-- Kicking all kinds of arse in RDR. It's good to wade through Pike's Basin seemingly untouched while mowing down bandit after bandit.

-- Listening to a song that kicks my creativity.

-- Watching a good historical documentary.

-The slinky is my version of the stress ball.

-I like playing video games, posting on ZU, eating tasty food, watching cartoons, listening to alternative music, and typing. That's pretty much what I do everyday. And, of course, play with my slinky, but that was already stated in the first bullet.

Making my friends happy.

-Reading a book that I can't put down.

-Walking in the woods.

-Planting trees.

-Petting a fat cat.

-Watching Two and a Half Men.

-Playing a really good video game.

-Beating Japanese players on Mario Kart Wii online.

-- Talking with British folks. =3 They are like kin to me.

When I'm by myself

Lol, third attempt at this thread, let's see how much it lasts

Randomly running into a random friend on the bus, my happiness level raises quite a bit when this happens.

Finding an online player in a game around my level of skill that doesn't just quit as soon as I win just once.
