Tattoos. What's your opinion of them?!

If they don't have meaning, don't get one because you'll regret it.

I just personally think they're really unappealing and they sort of "take away" from the natural beauty people have-- people don't NEED things like that to look nice.
And I mean that in a positive way, even though it might not sound like it.

They are not meant to be beautiful. There meant to look cool. They are not at all meant to look nice. If anything most people consider them unattractive. But they are not meant for appeal at all.

I have no problems with tatoo's as long as its not anywhere disgusting. Like no face tattoo's. And hand tattoo's. Other then that if its not too big and it has a cool design I don't have a problem with that. I think they little kinda cool. As long as you don't go overboard.

A doctor who one would be epic because doctor who is not going anywhere any time soon. Its a large part of alot of culture and its something you could enjoy your entire life. Because doctor who will hopefully never end. Zelda on the other hand I don't know...

More power to those who want to get tattoos. But personally, I'm a big wuss.

I contemplated a Zelda related tattoo. A small version of this:


Zelda does mean something to me but i dont know if it means so much to actually get a tattoo of that. Its why i backed out. I came very close to actually getting it.

Tattoos can look very attractive on women, possibly with one or more piercings as well. But not too much. However, I don't think I'll get any. I just can't face the fact that the tattoo(s) would be on my skin until I'm dead and my flesh rots away. And tattoos age, as we know.

I do not have any tattoos at the moment.
But... I am planning on getting one when I turn 18.

People have many reasons for getting tattoos other than to look cool.

I like tattoos on the ~right guys~. Some guys look douchey, others awesome.

And I don't understand the "OHHH NOOOOO TATTOOS WHEN YOU'RE 40." It's a tattoo, it's permanent, by the time you're 40 it's just gonna be a part of you and you can deal with it.

I am considering getting this. It is a UV tattoo, it only shows up in a black light. This is popular for raves, people can get designs on their face that only show up in parties! But I'm not necessarily into raves, I just like the idea of having a tattoo that I want and not ever have to hide it.

Holy cow, that is awesome. I didn't know they could do that.

I agree, this is why I haven't gotten that awesome UV tattoo. I could try to convince myself that Zelda has been a part of my life since before I was born (when my mom was pregnant she would sit and watch my dad play Zelda on the NES and SNES) and that because it is one of my favorite things that I should have something like a tattoo to show my appreciation for it. But in the end, it is a video game and it does not mean anything important to me, so, yeah.

I want a tattoo someday, and I've considered a few designs but I can't really settle on one properly. Maybe I'll have a good idea when I'm a level-headed adult rather than a dumb teenager, so I'll wait until then. I don't want to get some lame thing that I'll end up regretting.

But on others, I think tattoos can look cool if they're done right. I don't really like the cliché ones though (skulls, swallows, anchors etc) I think original or rare designs are the best. It's cool if they have personal meaning too.

First tattoo I had done is the Celtic design on my left shoulder of a wolf howling into a moon. Second is the Chinese writing down my neck onto my back which says 'how much is happiness'.

I love tattoos and have three now. One for cosmetic reasons and the others sentimental that happen to be my own creations - I guess it's like wearing a little bit of me on my skin.

Find all sorts of tattoos fascinating... The good, the bad, the whatever. It's just another form of self expression.

I know a girl who got that as a tramp stamp. Like it's super lame to get a Zelda tat to begin with but then to get it as a tramp stamp? Cmon.

Felt like I might be a douche to say I think triforce tattoos are a bit lame, being on a Zelda website, but meh.

I guess I just feel like it's something that you can easily lose interest in.

You could also add "Stupid, and a terrible idea" to that. It's no different then getting a glow in the dark tattoo of Yoshi on my head.

Well, I already have two tattoo's. One on my side breast (left) of Hello Kitty, and on my waist, my name. I know that they damage the skin, and once it's on it can't be taken off except by expensive surgery. But I love my tattoo's.

I might want another, I don't know.

That's just entirely lacking in class, I can understand even less some of the locations people get these tattoos.

Oh well, I'm sure those will look fine years down the road.

I will not get any tattoos because I am very protective of my skin. If you want tattoos, you can. I don't like them.
