Slim Jeans and Skinny Jeans on men- What's the Verdict?

This is something I've been wondering about for a while-

What do you think about men wearing slim jeans or skinny jeans?

Now to be clear, I think there is a difference between slim jeans and skinny jeans.

Most of these (but not the first ones) are, to me, pairs of jeans made be slim.

I think that Slim jeans are fine on most people, but that those REALLY skin-tight jeans are just awful.

I'm especially interested in what the ladies have to say on this matter.

I don't like jeans. They are uncomfortable, and I just don't like wearing them. So, I do not own jeans. If people want to wear them, they can go ahead. I'm not stopping them.

Slim fit jeans are acceptable on men, skinny jeans are not.

I don't much like skinny jeans on guys, because I hate thinking, 'That's a nice ass', and then looking up and seeing a dude attached to it.

Slim jeans, meh. I can be guilty of wearing a pair occasionally.

Slim jeans look too much like a horrid compromise. Go one way or the other, please.

Skinny jeans are hot on a guy though. Usually.

I guess IMO, it takes a certain type of guy to pull off the skinny jeans look.

guys can wear skinny jeans if they want to. I can see no reason against it other than blatant gender-role-reinforcing sexism.

IMO, what jeans a guy wears depends on whether he wants children or not.

Meh. Just not my style. They seem hella uncomfortable too. I'll stick to my boot cuts and linens.

I'd say it depends totally on the person.

Some people look terrible.

Some people look disgusting.

Some people look funny.

Some people look good.

Some people look awesome.

Some people look gay.

In my humble opinion, slim fit jeans and skinny jeans do not belong on a male. There's not much else I can say on this matter. It looks bloody stupid.

I'd say that slim jeans, used by slim men is acceptable, however skinny jeans on straight men makes them look homosexual

EDIT: I personally prefer carpenter jeans or loose fit jeans, nahh just kiding I personally prefer no-jeans, just shorts

Those jeans in particular suck, but slim jeans are okay.
I love Supra skytops and slim jeans fit well with them so I tend to wear them a lot. Other than than it's regular or boot cut.
I'd never wear skinny jeans though.

My verdict is wear whatever you want.

I don't care.

I will never wear tight clothing that restricts circulation/doesn't have room for my male parts.

but, by all means, whatever floats your boat. One's fashion option is not up to me.

I don't wear skinny jeans because they are much too tight and it bugs me

Meh, the wash and stressing on most designer jeans is so bad these days that they look terrible regardless of the fit.

I have no explicit problem with skinny jeans, except that they don't ideally perform the task they're supposedly designed for. If your a slim guy with an ass worth showing off, you're much better off in, say, a pair of Naked and Famous Weird Guys than something cribbed off a pair of lady's GStars.

I hate this fad and I hate all fads that make me question my sexuality. Like, I'll be driving by and I'll be like "Damn, look at that ass." then I drive by and I'll see that it's a hippie with a long beard and I'll be like "Goddammit!"
