A very busy and confusing life....

>.< Well...i know you all want to know the story....so it started about a week ago from saturday. I was out with my dad and my brother on our annual breakfast. When my dad started talking about North Carolina and how we might have to move. I really didnt like the feeling. It meant giving up all the relationships and all that i gained in teh lats4 years. IT reminded me a bit of when i moved last. Now he spends most of his time in North Carolina and the week ends at home....which reminds me of when we moved to illinois...>.< So with all this going on....I really cant post as much as i used to. Also i have a ton of other stuff like band and stuff i need to worry about....I'll still be here but not as much. Its just i dont wana move.. Has this ahppened to anyone

Sorta similiar, but I haven't moved as much. Only twice. The first was just about thirty or so minutes away from the trailer and was easy to adjust as I only had one friend to keep in contact with (happened when I was seven or so). The second happened about two years ago when we moved a few hundred miles to the west and into a small town, big change that lost me contact with the few friends I had. My brother was fortunate that he didn't have to move as far.

Heh yes.
I lived in Arizona for 2 years and I had a lot of friends and I was used tot hat place. Then we moved to North Carolina because of my Uncle's business work. I was sad and I hated the fact I will lose my friends as well.
I had a bad Summer in NC because I couldn't drive and I didn't know anyone. But once college started everything got better.
So don't worry about it, you will get used to it. Oh, I live in NC. >.> And where in NC are you going to move in?

Yes it has, but (I'm sorry to say) it had a happier ending (I think I've told this story in another thread...but I don't recall which one...anywho). Both of my parents have been Spanish teachers for a certain Private High School (for the mean time, let's call this High School, "A") for about 14 years of their lives. At that moment, both of my sisters are already in college, but I'm left behind in High School (the very same High School my parents worked). One Winter morning, my father told the family that he's decided that he needs a change from his life and his work. A friend of his (from his college where he got his Master's Degree) told him that there was an opening at High School "B". He was given a better salery(sp?) than High School "A", and a couple other little quirks. So with my father's decision, was final: We were going to move into town "B" where my parents will work for the new school. Now that left me behind. I had the choice of either staying with my friends at High School "A" (where I would have to board and live in a dormatory) or I could live with my parents and attend at High School "B". Supposibly(sp?) High School "B" is better than "A" because of it's academic records and who went there blah blah blah. Because I was still attached to my parents, I decided to live with them onto my High School life at "B". Worse decision of my life (now I remember. I put this story in the greatest regrets thread). That school is haaaaaaard. I had to make new friends, get to know the faculty (because I was a "Fac Brat"
...meaning I was a child of a faculty member), and what was insane was the work load. I'm in college right now as a freshman and I can clearly state that I had harder work there, than I do here. Well two terms of torture in hell and I couldn't take it anymore. I told my parents that I needed to move back to where I belong...to High School "A". My parents knew that "B" was a very challenging school (I guess I wasn't up to it), so I returned to my previous school.

Yeah, I've had to move twice in my life, the difference is that my first move was good for me. When I lived in Indiana, I was living in one of the most toxic social environments I had ever known. I tell you, literally EVERYONE in my school hated me, they took every opportunity to make my life a complete and total living hell. The only friend I ever had there was my current best friend Andrew, and he went to a different school. Each school day was like walking into a pit of mad rattlesnakes and black widow spiders. Then we had to move to Nebraska and I was glade to get away from the dickheads that had made my lif miserable. And Andrew would continuously visit me in Omaha, so I never really lost anything when I moved from Indiana.

Then my move from Nebraska to Colorado was not as nearly as nice. I had used my clean slate in Colorado to make a group of friends, a few of which turned out to be great friends who I still visit today. I had to say goodbye to them, and I was moving farther from Andrew so it would be harder for him to visit us. But he still does visit us, and I visit my few friends in Nebrask once in awhile too. That taken together with the clique of new friends I've made here has made things alot better for me.

Don't worry Necco, you'll get new friends. It only takes a few weeks to get settled in.

Hey, everyone has to move sometime, I moved last year and I hated the feeling. I really miss me old house because of all the friends I lived close to, hardly any of my friends live where I live now, and it's a bit sad.

But that's life.. you have to take different roots and roads to experience something new.

But I've already moved 4 times....I dont wanna move again

I have moved about 6 or 7 times and probably next year I will be moving to Arizona again for Med School. It's life and you have to do what you parents say for now.
