Out of school for.... Weeks???

This morning I got up and walked to the bus stop... Then a lady walked out and told me school was out for today. So I walked back at home and tuned the radio. Ok here it is... Making renovations to the basement they found a rotting body, mildew in the whole basement, rotting wood supports and fungus spores in the air vents... So early diagnostic few weeks off school and the possibility of having to finish the year in the nearby english high school... Im happy to be off of school but ... It would be pretty rough having to re-do my grade 12 or having to catch up after they clean it... Oh well I'l take it as it comes. (I did this cuz its early and I have nothing else to do)

Give us a link or something. Something like that would get reported on a news site somewhere.

Yeah, a rotting body... as in someone was murdered.
Of course, haven't you ever seen that?
On a serious note, I would think this as bad, as there is that possibility that you will need to take the year over...

either that or...Summer School! NOOOOOOOO! Anyway this could range from weeks to months. It depends what happens with the body and how big of a case they make out of it.

Not only is it great that you don't have school but now you get to think about the body that was ROTTING in the basement. Isn't that AWESOME? I freaking ENVY you.

Oh man, this Friday I have a cut day, but you getting 3 weeks off of school, that rocks! To top it all of, finding a dead body has got to be one of the rarest things in a school.

For those of you who missed it in my last post, I doubt the veracity of this story, and I won't believe it until I get a news link.

I have to agree with l-o-s on this one..

Anyways, my teachers may be going on a full out strike, even though it's illegal..so i may be out for a few weeks. o_O

Sounds good that your missing school, but horrible that someone was murdered and hidden in your school. When you find out anymore information please update this thread.

well il do what I can but the site is more likely going to be in french and they didnt say what happened to the media yet... when it comes out il let ya know... I went to school today to get some stuff and there were cops everywhere and didnt let me in... I hear the body story from my friend's dad who is a forensics (or whatever) expert that works for the police... He just said they something dead down there and called him... I guess there wasnt much left...Well il chek the local media sites for news but I cant garantee anything just yet give it a few days...

Ps they found the "thing" im not gonna call it a body anymore cuz im not all that sure either in the school basement so basically he either dug a hole in the ground or got walled in. the school was built in 1972 but major renovations happened in 1995...

holy crap, a body in the basement? I hope it wasn't a student who discovered it. You might as well come to grips with the prospect of losing a portion of your summer too, in my school system every day we miss is made up over the summer. You could miss those three weeks out of your vacation, and that would suck.
