Biggest Regret.

Well what is the one thing in your life that you regert more than anything.

It can be not askign a girl out...selling something you never should have. Anything.

Well here is mine.

I had a SNES and about 20 games.

Link To The PAst,FF3, Super Metroid,Illusion of Gaia, Super Mario World and more classic games.

So I go down to Game SPot and decidecd to sell it. So I give the guy all of my games and the system. A few minutes later. $70 dollars were in my hands.

Worst decision EVER!

Umm first off, I thought you just told us it couldn't be about selling something you never should have, and then there you go, telling us a story about selling your SNES and 20 games.

Well here's my greatest regret. Before I started my Sophmore year in Highschool, I had the choice of either staying at my current High School, or go another one where my father was going to teach (we moved to the town where my father was going to work at). Both schools are private, so I had the choices of either Sleeping in a dormatory (but I'd already have my friends) or Sleeping at my house (with family), but going to a school where I had to make new friends and whatnot. I decided to go to other High School. It was the worst decision I've made because it was one of the hardest Private schools in all of New Hampshire, and I couldn't take the presure. I only stayed their for 2 terms before I decided to move back to my old High School.

To put it shortly, I regret ever leaving my friends for another school. My friends were ok with it, but I missed them durring that time.

Re: Biggest Regret.

My greatest regret? Probably not being nearly as motivated and responsible a person as I should be.

Although that's not really a regret, is it? Let's see, then...

Okay. My greatest regret is being too lazy and not having any sort of sense of motivation or responsibility when it comes to my schoolwork, and rushing, procrastinating, and just plain not doing things like school assignments. I'd give specific examples, but there are too many to mention. Wait, that's exactly the same as what I said above, isn't it? Too bad.

No I had said It can be "NOT Asking a girl out".... selling something you never should have. Anything.

I didn't mean it can-not be asking a girl out or selling something.

Re: Biggest Regret.

I actually have no "greatest regrets". If I do something regretful, I usually get over it in the next day. That's probably why I do not remember anything I would ever regret, at least not until it becomes an important issue.

So, I have no regrets so far that I remember, so none of them must be very important or great. I think my life is going very smoothly so far... this year has definately been a good one.

Re: Biggest Regret.

Not telling my father I hated his fiance because she was a stupid manipulative *****-whore after his money. I've always been a pussy about telling people that kind of stuff though. He found out eventually though. Oh boy did he find out ^^. Other then that I regret not being more willing to succeed. It would have really helped out with high school. >>; Whatever. Heh.

Re: Biggest Regret.

My biggest regret was joining this forum...I spend a lot of my free time on it and it hindered my social life for a long bit, but now it's back to normal..so I guess I shouldn't regret it. o_O

Re: Biggest Regret.

I regret smoking marijuana for 2 years out of my life, and then getting arrested for it. I regret not telling my old best friend that I was in love with her before she found a guy and got pregnant. I regret not telling my mom that she shouldn't let this new guy live with us. and of course he still is. I despise him.

Re: Biggest Regret.

My biggest regret fall in the lines of Sear's regret, but I do try to get school work and assignments done. My biggest regret would have to be allowing myself to become anti-social, life's no fun when you don't know how to talk to people.

Re: Biggest Regret.

My greatest regret is not keeping track of some of my oldest online Battle.net friends, and then losing them forever...

One was arrested, one doesn't like to hang out with me as much as she used to, one was never to be found.

Well, actually...a LOT of them were never to be found again. I had about 24 total in my inner circle only, and I lost them all because my stupid brain never realized I may long for them in the future.

Heh...

Re: Biggest Regret.

My biggest regret? Giving away my Magic: The Gathering deck for free. Lol, hell yeah man, it has all the wonderful memories even though it's suited for young teens. All those cards that I've collected, some of them are very well-drawn. *sigh*, that was dumb of me.

Re: Biggest Regret.

I read my regrets again and felt like adding a little more, I regret thinking my parents split up because of me and my brothers, I regret not talking to my father as much as I'd like to. I regret not making more friends in high school. I regret not keeping my promises to my friends that I have. I regret being petty and selfish for most of my childhood, I realize now that even though we are comfortable money wise, it's never a good thing to take advantage of that and others. I regret putting my mother through the emotional rollercoaster of my drug addiction and basically hormonal mood swings. And for my one and only regret of something of material posession, I regret trading that valueable pokemon card for a **** load of energy cards.

Re: Biggest Regret.

My biggest regret, or at least the most present at the moment, would be my approach of the situation with one of my best friends,
I really caused a lot of hurt.. I say it's mainly caused by selfishness or something but I don't know.
But luckily it worked out alright. Another would probably be running away while we were spending the weekend on a camping site. I didn't really 'run away' but I stayed out in the woods and around them until I went to the visitors center where I stayed until it got dark and my parents got there. I really really scared my mom (and dad too probably)
And in a lot of cases I regret being too damn shy to say something that might help people
