well, i have been here 3 days, a total of 3 days. and i dont feel welcome, i know i made a mistake with that word game thing, i re-read the forum rules and saw it in a tiny area of the restricted forum section of the rules. but i also got "bashed" for saying "big goron's sword" i mean seriously one mistake on a word and i get flamed practically by someone. i felt pretty crappy for that. i know i started an o.k. thread in the general zelda forum. but jeez, i just dont feel welcome, no one has befriended me, ill just go back to a forum where i know what im talking about. FISH GEEKS HERE I COME!

So, you're leaving because you made a thread which got locked, and because someone "bashed" you? Note that the guy didn't bash or flame you; he just pointed out an error. A small error at that, but hey, don't take it as offensive. Heck, the language he used didn't even come close to insulting.

ZU isn't really the type of forum where you get people saying, "let's be friends!" and such, as well. It is a pretty large message board, after all - there's not as great a sense of intimacy, especially when you're newer. You will make friends, but it just takes time to find those who share common thoughts and interests with you. Becoming a regular and established member in the community kind of helps, as well.

Go ahead and leave if you want, but don't play the, "oh, boo-hoo, nobody loves me!" game, because it isn't valid. As of now, I can't see any reason to leave aside from that flawed notion.

little late for the non-flaming thing. oops. im having some complications with a relationship with a girl i know and it's getting me emotional. im sorry if i took it out on some one that doesnt deserve it. i should be a little more light hearted but when your girlfriend of 4 years cheats on you. it gets to you pretty harsh. im sorry.

i sent you a pm stating the same exact thing sea just said, you don't make friends right away in the real world, the same applies here, you need to make an impression on the ZU community before they can accept you...

Alright, then. You know, we have a thread devoted to love and such things, so feel free to post about anything you want to discuss in there (if you haven't already; I don't really read over it).
