What are some good anti spyware sites?

Where I can get a free download? I think I may have some, not sure though. My comps been laggy lately, and I'm pretty sure it's not storage thats holding it up.

Yeh, definetely the best adaware program there is.

Also, check out Spybot Search and Destroy, just search on google and try and find the website.

Yea, I use Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware, and Spy-Sweeper.
I think they're all free...but you can get updates for Spy-sweeper if you Pay $30 or something...

Before I mention any recommendations I should remind you that the safer your browser is the less Spyware // Adware you'll recieve. Spyware Blaster is a vital anti-spyware app I recommend it to my fullest extent.

Ad Aware
A powerful and commonly used Scanner & Remover application for Spyware.

Spyware Blaster
- Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
- Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
- Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.

Spyware Guard
An anti-virus program scans files before you open them and prevents execution if a virus is detected. SpywareGuard does the same thing, but for spyware.

Spybot Search & Destroy
Similar to Ad Aware they both do the same thing, I recommend one or the other.

Another good thing that helps is switching off of Internet Explorer and moving your browser to Mozilla/Firefox.

I don't have nearly as many problems with spyware, and viruses that come through loopholes in IE are nill.

Or, if you decided not to use Firefox, you can use Opera or download Service Pack 2 for IE which blocks pop-ups, has a fire wall, and more.

The best i've used in a long time is the one at lavasoftusa.com. It removed all the ads that had nested nicely in my computer and made it run faster. I'd recommend that.

Thank you for that link. Installed it, and I like it. I was expecting it to be some program that sits in the system tray and eats up resources, but I was pleasantly surprised.
